General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) long-awaited downfall airdate is coming up, so let’s talk about when this villain will finally pay a deadly price. Peter’s reign of terror is almost over, so many fans will want to pass the popcorn and look forward to the baddie’s comeuppance.
Wes Ramsey is off contract and on his way out at the ABC soap. GH insiders confirm that Peter is really leaving this time. We’re hearing there are currently no plans to bring Peter back or let Ramsey return in a new role.
Of course, that could change down the road – especially depending on what kind of exit Peter gets. A presumed death is different from a more final one, though any death can be undone in the soap world.
Whatever the case, a death is still a death for as long as it sticks! Unlike the last time Peter “died,” the show truly intends for Peter’s story to end this time around.

Could that mean Maxie herself will pull the trigger on Peter in an epic moment – one where she finally ends her own nightmare?
That’s one possibility to consider, though we should point out that Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner) will also race to Maxie’s side as the danger intensifies.
It sounds like Felicia may either save Maxie or arrive in time to watch Maxie save herself.
