General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) could get attacked over Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) investigation. Will “The Hook” get his revenge on the detective?
There are some good reasons to think Sam might become a victim at some point.
For starters, a big part of Sam’s story was walking away from Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and his dangerous lifestyle.
Sam wanted to focus on building a safer world for her family and is now dating someone on the right side of the law.
However, that doesn’t mean Sam will be able to avoid danger in a town like Port Charles.
Dante will take the lead on this investigation and follow a hunch about shady Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).
Of course, there’s no way the show would reveal the hook villain’s identity so soon, so Dex is obviously a red herring.
Dante’s going to figure that out eventually, but it’ll be interesting to see how “The Hook” responds to his upcoming moves.
If this villain is vain, he or she may grow angry over Dante thinking an amateur like Dex is capable of such a diabolical plot.
That could lead to “The Hook” raising the stakes and hitting closer to home.
It’s easy to imagine this baddie making things personal by going after one of the most important people in Dante’s life.
Naturally, this villain could also react after Dante gets too close to the truth.
“The Hook” won’t want Dex getting the credit for his or her handiwork, but this person won’t want to get caught either.
That would eliminate the ability to commit more murders and incite more fear around PC.
As the investigation deepens, “The Hook” may do something big and bold to shake up Dante’s world.
If Sam finds herself getting hooked somewhere down the line, Dante will have to slow down and focus on her for a bit.
Perhaps Dante could even get pulled off the case since Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) might worry he’s too close to all this now.
Regardless, more victims are on the way, so no one is safe in Port Charles.
