General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, August 11, tease that Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) will apparently cancel his weekend with Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) kids while Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) coma awakening plan hits a snag thanks to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).
At the PCPD, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will remain torn about whether to flip on the accomplices who got him out of Spring Ridge. That includes Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and the help he offered on the inside.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will wonder if Spencer really wants to be the state’s sacrificial lamb and may reiterate that he needs to use every tool available to him.
However, Spencer will stick to a decision he’s made according to GH spoilers. That could mean Spencer will face the music like he previously planned to – though he’ll hope Sonny can do one more favor for him before he goes.
At the Metro Court pool, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson (Tabayna Ali) will try to put the trial out of their minds for a while. Sadly, Trina and Josslyn won’t be successful since the verdict is just around the corner.
Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will pop up at some point, so we’ll see him shirtless near the pool as well. General Hospital spoilers say Dex will get on the phone and pass along some important updates, so it’ll be interesting to see which boss he’s talking to!
It might even be a case where Dex is talking to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Josslyn gets the wrong idea. Perhaps Josslyn will overhear something and assume Dex is on the phone with Sonny instead.
Regardless, Dex and Josslyn will once again do some clashing. Joss will ask why she would want to save Dex, but he’ll know she doesn’t want to rock the boat for Trina – especially since jury tampering exposure would mean the pain of a new trial.
Over with Maxie, she’ll seem upset as she asks if Austin is canceling the weekend with her kids. This is clearly something Maxie was looking forward to, so she’ll wonder why Austin is bailing now.
Unfortunately, Austin may have to lie about the real reason why. This will no doubt have something to do with Mason (Nathanyael Grey), the cousin who was harassing Austin on The Haunted Star recently.
Austin will assure Maxie that he understands the importance of family and may promise to carve out time with her children soon. Even so, this could cause some relationship issues if Austin indeed has to take a raincheck.
Next, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) will whisk Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) somewhere private and deliver some troubling news. It looks like Martin will admit Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) got him in a tight spot and is forcing him to betray Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
At GH, Jordan will corner Portia and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). After Jordan declares that she knows why they’re both there, she’ll insist she won’t allow it.
Of course, Jordan may not actually know what Portia and Curtis are planning. This could be a bit of a fake-out where Jordan has jumped to the wrong conclusion.
Whatever the case, Curtis and Portia will move forward with the risky plan to bring Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) out of his coma early, so they should get rid of Jordan and hope for the best.
