General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, November 3 Recap – Chase Meets ‘Blaze’ – Portia & Curtis’ Rushed Wedding – Trina Accuses Esme

general hospital recap

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, November 3, reveals that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) met “Blaze” while Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) settled on a rushed wedding plan. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) also accused Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) of being “The Hook,” so let’s talk about all the action.

After a fan encounter at Charlie’s Pub, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) hinted that maybe Chase shouldn’t retire from music after Linc Brown’s (Duran Buran) takedown. However, Chase pointed out that he wouldn’t be doing this if he had his detective badge back.

Once “Blaze” arrived, she explained she was the other half of the pop duet Linc had in mind. Linc appeared and felt confident this would be a match made in heaven.

At one point, Blaze pulled her hand away from Linc and seemed uncomfortable. While Linc and Brook Lynn talked business nearby, Chase got to know Blaze and learned her real name was Allie – or Allison formally.

Linc was happy to see the two of them hitting off, but Chase expressed concern once he was alone with Brook Lynn. Due to Linc’s harassment track record, Chase seemed worried about what the sleazy producer was doing to Blaze.

Brook Lynn urged Chase to stop being a cop for one night and brought the focus back to their takedown plan, which was the best way to stop Linc.

After Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) dropped Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) off at her hotel suite, she snuck out and met Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) on the footbridge.

Holly reluctantly offered updates on Robert’s plan to help Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), but Victor acted like she should be grateful for this arrangement since it allowed her freedom.

Victor suggested he saved Holly by buying her from Winston Rudge (David S. Lee) and keeping her around until she could be useful. Once Anna was convicted, Victor assured Holly that she’d be off the hook – though he urged her to remember who she left behind.

Holly made it clear that she’d kill Victor if “he” was harmed, but Victor warned that he could wipe his other prisoner out if Holly made one misstep.

Once Victor was alone, he spoke with someone over the phone and asked if they convinced the bank manager to release the info. Victor got a text with a pic of the necklace from Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) safe deposit box and seemed pleased.

While Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) were babysitting at Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) place, Robert came over with the latest news on Anna.

That gave Mac a chance to admit Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) might be his biological son, so Robert smacked him in the head for waiting this long to tell him. Although Mac didn’t know the DNA results yet, he privately confessed to Felicia that he wanted a chance to be Cody’s father.

Robert felt uneasy about Holly’s demeanor earlier, so he decided to go check on her again. Holly was returning to her suite as Robert arrived, so she lied about not being able to sleep and taking a walk for the fresh air.

Robert shared a kiss with Holly, who admitted the thought of seeing him again kept her going while she was locked up. Holly claimed she couldn’t remember much, but she at least knew that. After another kiss, Robert parted ways with Holly for the night and left her looking guilty.

At GH, Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) found Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), who was distraught over Liam Corbin and now Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor). Gladys revealed she sometimes volunteers in the maternity ward as a way to cope.

After Gladys told Austin they both came to town looking out for number one, she suggested they’d grown and outrun the past. Mason (Nathanyael Grey) appeared and met Gladys briefly, but Austin dragged him somewhere private.

Although Mason had new orders from the boss, Austin was done following them and said he was a different person. Mason brought up who sparked that change before Maxie appeared.

At Deception, Gladys met with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) following her meeting with Maxie and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy). There was talk about a plan for partner pay cuts and other strategies that would help save the company, but Gladys refused to sign off.

Sasha was upset since the company was in freefall without Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), so she argued with Gladys about what was best for Deception. Gladys ultimately caved in, but she insisted she took her role as Sasha’s guardian very seriously and intended to do right by Brando.

At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) place, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) explained the letter evidence and advised Trina to stay at home instead of the dorm since it’d be safer. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) agreed to stay with Carly as well.

Trina assumed Esme must be the one behind the attacks, but Jordan said they had reason to believe she was in France when Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) was hooked. Esme was on the PCPD’s radar, but she was only one possibility to consider.

At Curtis and Portia’s house, they discussed waiting for his genetic counseling results and how he was glad to have it done. Curtis wanted to know if he was predisposed to schizophrenia for the sake of their kids and joked around with Portia about how many he wanted.

Once Portia got a message from Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), she filled Curtis in on a cancellation at the Metro Court ballroom. Portia and Curtis could get married there if they did it on Valentine’s Day, but Portia felt that was too soon to pull everything together.

Curtis made a convincing speech about how they could make it happen, so Portia eventually surrendered and gave him a kiss.

Later, Jordan brought Trina in and explained the danger due to the letter info. Trina was adamant that Esme had to be “The Hook,” but Jordan told Curtis and Portia that was just one theory.

There wasn’t enough evidence to warrant police protection for Trina, so Jordan thought it was best for her to stay with Portia and Curtis for her safety.
