General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, October 13, teases that Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) match will be sabotaged while Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) carries out her Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) mission. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will also play a dangerous game, so let’s discuss what’s coming up.
First, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will be on edge over Society Setups and all the illegal activity it takes to keep it running.
Spinelli doesn’t want to stop his successful endeavor, but he doesn’t want to get caught either.
Cody poses a threat since he knows too much, but Sam will do her best to neutralize him.
Although Cody will act like he’s done pushing for favors, Sam will want to make sure the pressure’s truly off Spinelli.
Of course, Sam found out that Cody and Britt weren’t a legitimate match, so she’ll feel the need to warn Britt at GH.
That plan will prove tricky since Sam won’t divulge the whole truth.
From Britt’s perspective, it’ll seem like Sam doesn’t think she’s good enough for Cody. Sam may suggest it’s the other way around since Cody’s motives for pursuing Britt are hazy.
Although Sam can’t stop Britt from dating Cody, she’ll at least want her to proceed with caution.
Sam will make a subtle attempt to sabotage this match that isn’t really a match, but Britt will still meet up with Cody anyway.
Until then, Cody will catch up with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), who may get updates on the latest Mac Scorpio (John J. York) developments.
Perhaps Cody will admit he went from thinking Mac might arrest him to wondering if Mac is his biological father.
Cody still hasn’t decided whether he’s going to get a DNA test, but Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is rooting for him to find out the truth.
We’ll also see Maxie pop up and warn Spinelli about some blunder he’s about to make, so we’ll see if she can talk him out of it.
After Anna fills Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) in on Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) latest accomplice, he’ll realize Victor has friends in high places.
Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur) is just one of the many cogs in Victor’s ominous plan.
Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will keep up her efforts to learn more information, which is a mistake since Victor is onto her.
Now that Victor knows Lucy was listening in on his earlier conversation, there’s going to be trouble.
Anna and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) were worried something like this might happen, so their worst fears will come true when Victor cooks up a plot that could endanger Lucy.
It looks like Anna may come up with another plan to get Lucy out of this mess, but Robert will warn about the risks of dealing with Victor.
In Jacksonville, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will have a catch-up session with Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman), so we’ll see if Bobbie flies down or gets in touch over the phone.
Regardless, Carly will talk about her fight to save the cemetery and all the wonderful support she’s been receiving from Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Carly might bring up her desire to ditch Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) last name as well and wonder if Bobbie would mind if she became a Spencer.
Bobbie would be proud to have Carly carry on the Spencer legacy and would surely offer her approval.
After the guild holds a private vote, Carly will anxiously await the results.
They’re supposed to be posted to the website, but Carly will have a chance to get information straight from Peyton Honeycutt (Linda Purl).
There’s no word yet on whether Carly will get the votes she needs or not, but she’ll be a winner no matter what.
Carly is finding a way forward by revisiting the past and will achieve the peace she’s seeking during the week of October 17-21.
