General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, September 22, teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will play hardball while Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) delivers a special request. The attacker will also be raising the stakes based on the latest evidence, so here’s what GH fans can expect.
At Deception, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will question how fearful she should be about Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) latest jam.
Although Maxie won’t seem that concerned at first, she’ll eventually have a rather troubling realization.
Once Maxie sees how rattled Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) are, she should sense that this is serious business.
Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is a real threat and could retaliate if Lucy wastes his time.
Lucy doesn’t want to betray Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight), but Victor will keep trying to cross lines and disrespect boundaries.
Despite Lucy’s attempt to wrap this lunch up quickly, Victor will make it clear that he’s got big plans for the whole afternoon.
At GH, Elizabeth will have a special request for Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom), who might be the only one who can help Liz get to the bottom of her staircase trauma.
Liz has considered the possibility that her father, Jeff Webber (last played by Richard Dean Anderson), was the one behind that mystery woman’s tumble.
Of course, Elizabeth also needs to consider the idea that she shoved the woman herself.
The whole truth is buried somewhere in Liz’s mind, so she may hope Kevin can help her access it with a new technique.
Now that additional information has surfaced in the hook case, it raises the stakes for the people of Port Charles.
The attacker laced the murder weapon with a toxin, so Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) died from the poison and not the stab wound itself.
This will leave Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) even more determined to find this sinister killer before someone else gets murdered.
Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will be shaken over the results she just revealed, but she may promise to keep those results from leaking to the press.
Jordan doesn’t want to give the attacker another advantage to exploit.
After Jordan talks about being on the side of truth with Portia, an unspoken secret will hang between them.
Jordan feels confident that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) bio daughter – and Portia is on edge over the damage that could be done if that’s revealed.
The paternity bombshell will remain a secret for now, but Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) feelings for Carly won’t be a secret as far as Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is concerned.
Nina will hint about how invested Drew is and mull over how far things might go with Carly.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will chime in, but he may understand that he doesn’t get to call the shots when it comes to his ex-wife.
Carly will be busy in Jacksonville, where she’s trying to stop a parkway and save the cemetery where her adoptive mother, Virginia Benson (Lois Nettleton), was laid to rest.
Since Carly doesn’t want to disturb the grave, she’ll continue to face off with Peyton aka Mrs. Wade Honeycutt (Linda Purl).
Peyton will put up a fierce fight, but Carly will be more than willing to play hardball with her.
Carly will get some terrible news later, so that might come after she gets her phone back or buys a new one.
That could lead to Carly getting shocking updates on Brando’s death and how close Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) came to the danger.
As for Drew, he should be joining Carly in Jacksonville in the not-too-distant future.
