General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 30, teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will react to Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) shocker while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) plays referee. Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will also warn Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), so here’s what fans can expect.
At GH, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will remain in bad shape while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) lashes out at Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).
It sounds like Sonny will suspect Nikolas may have had a hand in what happened to Ava – or that he at least knows more than he’s letting on.
Nina will end up trying to keep the peace between Sonny and Nikolas.
After all, fighting like this won’t help Ava now. The best thing they can do is wait for the doctor’s updates and hold out hope that Ava will be OK.
Sonny will fret over Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) and how she’d take the crushing news of her mother’s death.
Nina may think they should stay positive and believe it won’t come to that, but it’ll obviously be a concern on everyone’s mind.
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will grill Nikolas about the events leading up to Ava’s stabbing, but he’ll be on edge and reluctant to answer.
That’ll leave Jordan wondering why Nikolas is clamming up and refusing to fully cooperate.
The PCPD will conduct more interrogations, so Brook Lynn will get questioned before warning Drew.
Although Brook Lynn will fear it’s going to look like Drew’s hiding something, he won’t seem concerned.
If Drew hasn’t given his statement by then, he may assure Brook Lynn that he’ll tell the cops everything they need to know.
Of course, Brook Lynn herself will have questions about Drew’s relationship with Carly and whether it’s gone beyond the friend zone.
Drew may confess that things have progressed, but he won’t be sure where they’ll go from here.
Carly will later have a heart-to-heart with Drew about their passionate turn, but she’ll want to support Josslyn first.
GH spoilers say Carly will reel over the details of Josslyn’s heroic effort – though Joss may insist Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) was the real hero.
Once Josslyn opens up to Carly and gets some comfort, she’ll drop the Ava bomb on Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
Josslyn’s attack news will send Trina flying into a panic as she worries whether Ava’s going to survive.
Next, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will beg Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) to let him fix things between them.
Finn will still want to help Liz, but he’ll know they need to find a better way of doing that – one that doesn’t involve going behind her back repeatedly.
Liz may not be sure how to repair the broken trust, but she should be more willing to accept that she indeed needs help.
Although Finn and Liz won’t solve all their problems with one conversation, at least they’ll be trying.
Over with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), he’ll accuse Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) of going after Ava while drunk.
Spencer won’t be able to remember much about last night, but he truly won’t believe he could’ve plunged that hook into Ava.
Victor, on the other hand, has been known to resort to deadly plots – especially since he’s got henchmen to deal with dirty deeds for him.
Spencer will hurl some accusations of his own, but Victor will then swing suspicion onto Nikolas.
Is Victor truly in the dark or is this all an act? That’s something Spencer may wonder considering what Victor is capable of!
