General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, January 11 Update – Maxie Shuts Down Felicia – Sonny’s Gift Rejected, Carly Can’t Pretend

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, January 11, teases that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will shut down Felicia Scorpio’s (Kristina Wagner) concerns while Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) gift is rejected by Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), who can’t pretend everything is fine in her marriage.

Felicia and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) have been fretting over Maxie’s optimism lately. It’s good for Maxie to have hope, but Anna and Felicia are worried she might be going overboard.

Maxie is absolutely certain that her baby will be found safe and sound, so it’s easy to see why Felicia and Anna are concerned.

They don’t want Maxie setting herself up for disappointment, but they don’t realize Maxie is indeed certain of her baby’s safety.

Louise August aka “Bailey Quartermaine” is perfectly all right under Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) care. That’s why Maxie will try to reassure Felicia without giving too much away.

Felicia will rehash all the destruction Peter’s caused and wonder what else she can do for Maxie. However, Maxie won’t need anything else from Felicia or anyone else.

Maxie will just keep playing this waiting game and hoping Peter ends up dead or officially locked up for good. Then and only then can Maxie be reunited with Louise!

As for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), he’ll push Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) to stop stalling and just spill his past.

Curtis is entitled to answers after all the pain he endured when he thought Marshall was dead.

Marshall abandoned Curtis and his brother for decades, so he’ll refuse to accept anything less than the truth. Unfortunately, Curtis may not approve of what Marshall has to say.

If Curtis doesn’t believe Marshall’s excuses or thinks they’re not good enough, that could create even more tension on his end.

Meanwhile, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will urge Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) to scram.

Laura was unsettled when she returned to find Victor waiting in her home and will want to get him out of there as soon as possible.

Of course, Victor won’t be in any hurry to leave Laura’s place or Port Charles in general.

Victor will hint about his plans being revealed when the time is right and intend to make himself uncomfortable in PC until then.

Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will also try to play Cupid for each other on Tuesday’s episode.

Despite Austin’s humorous attitude about the whole thing, it’ll be no laughing matter from Britt’s perspective.

Britt will have some war stories and will intend to help Austin learn how to get down in the dating trenches.

However, something tells us Austin and Britt would be better off dropping this matchmaking idea and giving each other a shot in the romance department instead.

Over with Sonny, he’ll make some sort of gesture and hope it moves his marriage back in the right direction.

Although Sonny’s present and plea will be sincere, Carly won’t be able to act like their relationship isn’t crumbling. There have been too many secrets and trust issues to just brush past.

Sonny will wonder what else he can do, but Carly may not even be sure at this point.

One thing’s for sure: Sonny and Carly will have to fight hard if they want their marriage to have any hope of survival.

At Crimson, Nina will face yet another interruption – though this one won’t be quite so antagonistic.

It seems Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) may come in peace instead, but Nina won’t see what Willow can do to make this situation any better.

Nina may doubt that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is going to let her anywhere near Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver), especially with Carly as furious as she is.

Nevertheless, Willow may vow to keep working on Michael and hope there’s a way forward for Nina as Wiley’s grandma.

Willow doesn’t want Wiley to suffer because of all the drama between Nina and the Corinthos clan, so she’ll do what she can to push for peace.

General Hospital spoilers say Willow and Michael’s relationship will face more problems as she pushes this Nina issue, so stay tuned.
