General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, January 26, teases that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will make an SOS call for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) while Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) is on the verge of a Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) breakthrough. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will also blast Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
Nina will remain in a tight spot at Sonny’s place on Wednesday’s GH episode. She doesn’t want to make things worse, but she also knows she can’t leave Sonny alone during his manic episode.
Nina could go against Sonny’s wishes and call Carly or another family member, but it seems she’ll call a medical professional instead.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina will end up on the phone with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), who’ll be able to coach Nina through what she should do next – at least in Britt’s expert opinion.
Britt will fear Nina could be in danger with Sonny in this hyped-up angry state, so she’ll offer a stern warning.
While Nina tackles this risky challenge, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will prepare for a big step with Cameron Webber (William Lipton). Cam and Joss will plan to sleep together for the first time during their cabin trip.
However, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) has some twisted scheme in mind for this cabin getaway. She’s sure to blow things up, so Josslyn and Cameron’s lovemaking bliss doesn’t seem likely to happen!
For now, Cam and Joss will arrive at the cabin with Esme, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla).
Esme will want this getaway to be one the gang will remember forever – and it should be once disaster inevitably strikes.
Back with Britt, she’ll spot Victor at the hospital again and demand answers. Britt may suspect Victor is there to see Peter and do some more plotting with him.
Victor might sell the same bogus story he told Austin about finding that crumpled sonogram in the street and wanting to identity the patient it belongs to.
Britt will definitely be keeping an eye on Victor, who seems poised to score firm evidence that Louise and “Bailey Quartermaine” are the same child.
Peter will remain stuck in his hospital bed – but not for long! Britt will have some news to deliver, so she may rub a victory in Peter’s face and point out that he can’t delay his prison transfer any further.
Peter will stand by his declaration about Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Louise being his destiny.
Peter will be delusional enough to believe he still has a shot at a family, but Britt may think Peter needs to surrender to his lengthy fate in the slammer.
Over with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), he’ll sit down for a chat with Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight).
They had to reschedule a meeting since Martin showed up late recently, but that was mostly due to Valentin’s irritation over Marin representing Peter.
Nevertheless, Valentin will cool off enough to give this meeting another try, so Martin might be able to make peace with him.
In the meantime, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will be pleasantly surprised over a run-in with someone and how well things turn out.
Chase will have “Bailey” with him when this encounter goes better than he anticipated, so he’ll celebrate the small victory.
Next, it seems Ava will derail the tranquility of Carly’s attempt to meditate through yoga.
Ava will stir the pot when it comes to Carly, Sonny and Nina’s love triangle, but Carly will just end up lashing out. Carly will think Ava needs to try thinking about someone other than herself for a change!
In Pautauk, Maxie will want to make this trip to the woods short and sweet. She won’t want to linger, but Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) won’t see what the hurry is.
Felicia will remind Maxie that this could be the key to a major breakthrough in the Louise case.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) may agree and push Maxie as well as Austin to remember anything they can in these familiar surroundings.
Since we know Maxie will offer a panicked explanation soon, Austin may remember more than he should.
There’s a good chance Austin will recall Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) showing up to collect Louise from Maxie, so Maxie will indeed have some explaining to do.
Fortunately, Austin may realize Maxie has complicated reasons for her actions.
It looks like Austin may want to discuss this tricky situation alone with Maxie, so he could become part of the secret circle.
