General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, May 25, teases that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will make a big announcement while Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) only hope is on the stand in court. Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will also interrogate Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and try to get to the bottom of what she’s keeping from him.
In the courtroom, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will defend Nina’s love for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and fight for her right to see her grandson.
Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will be pleased initially, but then Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will cast doubt on Sonny’s ability to see Nina’s flaws.
Since Sonny is standing by Nina despite her deception in Nixon Falls, Diane will act like Sonny’s judgment can’t be trusted.
Scott’s strategy could backfire if he’s not careful, but Sonny is his best option at swaying the judge.
Sonny is Nina’s only hope at Wiley visitation, but it looks like his testimony may not be enough in the end.
At the Metro Court, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will work to pull Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) closer through some fun banter by the bar.
Ava will turn on the charm as well, so these two will be playing some mind games with each other.
Although Ava will hope to nail down any tricks Victor might have up his sleeve, there could be a genuine connection developing here.
That connection could become more important once Nikolas falls prey to Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) scheme.
Speaking of Esme’s scheme, she’ll run into a roadblock when Spencer explains his trust fund situation.
Spencer will think they need to pack since Ava’s offering 10 grand in exchange for moving out permanently.
However, Esme will no doubt pump the brakes if possible since she needs to stick around Wyndmere and cozy up to Nikolas.
If Esme can’t delay this move-out, she may just have to kick her efforts to seduce Nikolas into high gear!
At GH, Nikolas will grill Britt about something.
Britt might let something slip about Spencer coming to her with a problem, so we’ll see how much she confesses about the pill he brought.
“You see how easy that was?” Nikolas asks in Wednesday’s preview video.
Since Nikolas may not be all that alarmed by Britt’s news, she may hold back or bend the truth.
Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) will also stop by the gallery for a special moment with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), so she’ll be glad to have him in her corner.
Officer Cabrera will be committed to making sure justice is served – and that means doing everything he can to get Trina off the hook.
Spencer is already working on that goal, but it’s been a slow mission so far.
Unfortunately, Spencer’s romantic chances with Trina are dwindling with each passing day.
Trina assumes Spencer is standing by Esme, so that’s obviously an issue.
Plus, Trina is falling for Rory and opening her heart to something new.
Spencer will witness the chemistry between Rory and Trina soon enough, so he’ll get jealous and frustrated over his own lack of progress.
As for Cameron Webber (William Lipton), he’ll tell Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) about Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) sleepwalker chaos and her stint in Shadybrook.
Josslyn will be there for Cam when he needs her most, but their conversation will shift to a plan for Esme’s downfall before they’re interrupted.
Will it be Esme or someone else who comes along? Whatever the case, Josslyn will have to turn her attention to Wiley before long.
General Hospital spoilers say Joss will babysit Wiley in the park during the week of May 30-June 3, but that’ll set the stage for more drama.
