General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, October 12 Update – Sonny Done Playing Nice – Dex Ready to Strike – Josslyn Upsets Cam

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, October 12, teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will decide he’s done playing nice while Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) gets ready to strike. Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) news will also upset Cameron Webber (William Lipton), so let’s discuss what’s coming up on ABC’s GH.

In Jacksonville, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will assure Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) that she’s prepared for the city council meeting.

It’s just a matter of whether the city council members are prepared to hear what Carly has to say and do something about it.

Carly is determined to stop the parkway and save the cemetery where Virginia Benson (Lois Nettleton) is buried.

That’s why Carly will make an impressive speech and leave Drew proud of what she’s accomplishing.

Back in Port Charles, Sonny will fume over Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) refusal to meet him halfway.

Although Sonny tried hard to extend an olive branch, Michael threw it right back in his face.

Now it looks like Sonny will be done trying to play nice with his stubborn son. Sonny will feel confident that nothing will change Michael’s mind at this point.

Why should Sonny keep trying to push for peace if he’s only going to get hostility in return?

Sonny may decide the war is on, but Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) might caution Sonny about making moves he’ll regret.

Ava will have some advice for Sonny, so she may reflect on her own experience with Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) and push Sonny to keep trying or at least avoid adding to the conflict.

Meanwhile, Michael and Dex will have a strategy session now that Dex is in the prime position to dupe Sonny.

Dex has hopefully passed his loyalty test and can now be trusted with more important tasks – leaving him with a far greater chance of taking Sonny down.

After Josslyn makes a confession, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will admit he kind of has a problem with it. Josslyn may come clean about some Dex details that leave Cam concerned about her being too close to danger.

Later, Michael will back Cameron up, so it sounds like they’ll both urge Josslyn to steer clear of Dex.

Since Dex is pretending to be devoted to Sonny, Michael and Cameron can use that to encourage Joss to back off.

However, it seems like there’s some magnetic pull that just keeps pulling Josslyn and Dex together.

There’s no way Dex and Josslyn can stay apart when the universe keeps pushing them together.

At Wyndemere, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) may be skeptical over whether Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) is truly carrying his child.

Esme will likely push Nik to see that the timing adds up – not to mention she’ll probably agree to a paternity test if need be.

Nikolas may act like this doesn’t change anything, but Esme will feel confident this Cassadine heir will keep her out of prison and protect her since she’s carrying precious cargo.

Nevertheless, Nikolas will find some way to regain control of the situation.

We’ll see Nikolas prove he’s not completely at Esme’s mercy, even if she’s pregnant with his baby.

Now that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) knows there’s an issue to address, he may tell Johann (Max Decker) to hold down the fort in his new hotel suite.

Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur) may elaborate on the problem she’s uncovered, but it all boils down to the fact that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) are scheming together.

While Victor investigates, Anna will panic over Lucy landing in a tight spot.

As Anna and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) use that listening device, they’ll grow increasingly concerned for Lucy and know they have to get her out of there.

Unfortunately, that’ll be easier said than done with Johann blocking Lucy’s path.

Even so, Lucy has proven she’s quite resourceful and will no doubt make a break for it eventually.

Of course, that may not do Lucy much good if Victor realizes she was trying to pry answers out of him in a bugged room.

Victor is already becoming suspicious of Lucy and could retaliate if he discovers he’s been deceived.

General Hospital spoilers say Lucy is playing a very dangerous game, so it’ll be Anna and Valentin’s responsibility to protect her.
