General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, September 28 Recap – Curtis Gets Trina Fired – Josslyn’s Alley Memory – Dex Meets Carver

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, September 28, reveals that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) got Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) fired while Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) shared an alley memory with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) also met Carver, who came to torture the truth out of him when Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) made no progress.

In Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) office, she got blunt with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and asked if Curtis was Trina’s father.

Portia fired back that it was none of Jordan’s business, but Jordan thought Portia was making it her business by barging in like this.

Jordan certainly thought it was Curtis’ business and offered up a list of clues to back up her suspicions – including the fact that Portia sought genetic counseling for Trina.

After Jordan said Portia couldn’t go into a marriage with this hanging over her, Portia asked if that was a threat.

Jordan denied threatening Portia, who still thought it sounded like Jordan would blab if she didn’t speak up.

At the hospital, Curtis found a roaming Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), who had to be able to do a couple laps before they’d release her.

Ava got updates on Diane Miller’s (Carolyn Hennesy) attack before Trina arrived. That led to Curtis scolding Trina for being out alone with a lunatic on the loose.

Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) appeared after parking the car, so Trina said she wasn’t stupid and seemed annoyed over Curtis treating her like a child.

In Ava’s room later, Trina talked about patching things up with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and complained about Curtis jumping on her.

Ava knew Curtis was just being protective and tried to convince Trina having more people to watch out for her was a good thing.

While Trina was checking on Diane’s condition, Curtis stopped by Ava’s room to discuss keeping Trina safe.

When Curtis said that Ava needed to fire Trina, she objected since Trina loved that job and was a great employee.

However, Curtis had concerns about Trina going to the gallery since the attacker was still out there.

After Ava caved in and made a phone call, she texted Trina to come back. Trina could tell that something was wrong, so Ava revealed that she couldn’t be Trina’s boss anymore.

After a brief run-in with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) in the hallway, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) interrupted Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) romantic time together.

When Cody heard the “Gatlin” part of Austin’s name, he seemed to fixate on it.

Cody also called Maxie “sis” and left her assuming that he’d talked to Mac Scorpio (John J. York).

Since Maxie was so glad to have this out in the open, Cody was taken aback and wondered if she really believed Mac was his father.

Cody then pried the details of Mac and Dominique Stanton’s (Shell Danielson) history out of Maxie, who urged him to see that he’d be lucky to have a dad like Mac.

At GH again, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) discussed Diane’s attack along with the suspicion surrounding Dex.

Once Michael made a call and found out Dex had left the PCPD with Sonny, he excused himself and took off.

That left Sam to chat with Spinelli, who admitted that Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) might’ve picked up on his reservations about Austin.

Sam thought it was jealousy instead and got Spinelli to admit he had feelings for Maxie.

Although Spinelli was tempted to see if he was a match for Maxie through Society Setups, he acted like he hadn’t gathered the nerve.

Sam was confused since Maxie wasn’t part of the service, so Spinelli eventually blurted out the whole story about owning Society Setups and being the matchmaker.

If anyone found that out, Spinelli warned that he’d end up in federal prison.

At the PCPD, Josslyn was there to share some evidence with Dante – something she now remembered hearing in the alley that night.

It was a jingling sound like metal pieces rattling together.

Josslyn was adamant that Dex wasn’t in the alley, but Dante got her to acknowledge the possibility that maybe he was just hidden.

Dante talked about Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) remembering some jangling as well and suggested they both might’ve heard Dex’s dog tags.

After Dante wondered if Dex was wearing them the night of Ava’s stabbing, Joss wasn’t sure.

Dante also found out Dex was wearing jeans and a white shirt, so he asked if the shirt was clean and checked the investigation notes.

At Pozzulo’s, Sonny had one of his men rough Dex up in the backroom. Dex’s hands were tied above his head as he insisted his boss had it all wrong.

Unfortunately, Sonny didn’t believe Dex and shouted that it was a huge mistake to not take him seriously.

Sonny questioned Dex about why he’d been so eager to work for him and why he wanted to deliver the raffle coffee to the Quartermaine estate.

Dex couldn’t reveal anything about Michael, so his claims of hoping to prove himself to Sonny seemed flimsy.

Sonny eventually brought in a man called Carver, who was quite literally there to carve Dex up.

Carver took his knives out as he prepared to get the information Mr. Corinthos wanted, but Dex insisted he wasn’t behind the attacks.

Michael showed up and wanted to speak with Sonny, who assured his son that he was handling the hook situation.

That led to Michael asking if Sonny picked Dex up because he believed he was innocent or because he thought he was guilty and wanted to deal with Dex himself.

Sonny made it clear that Michael should butt out, but Michael argued that Sonny was the common denominator in all this.

Since Michael kept asking questions about Dex, Sonny angrily demanded to know why Michael cared what happened to him.
