General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of January 24-28 teases that Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) cabin disaster will take center stage while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has a special encounter. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will also have some info to share with Peter August (Wes Ramsey), so here’s what fans can look forward to.
First, Sonny will refuse to honor Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) wishes about giving her time and space.
Sonny wants his wife back now, so he’ll get pushy – and that could spell more trouble since another fight’s brewing.
Over with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), he’ll change his mind about something.
Curtis might determine that he’s a little more willing to cut Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) some slack.
Perhaps Curtis will decide maybe he can live without having all the answers, though he certainly won’t allow Marshall to put his family in any danger.
Curtis may push Marshall to meet him halfway and get the runaround again since more conflict will erupt at The Savoy.
Meanwhile, Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) could be at risk now that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is closing in on the truth.
Victor will make a major discovery and look into some details at GH. His investigation may help him realize that Louise and “Bailey Quartermaine” are the same baby.
Later, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will mull over an intriguing possibility.
Maybe Valentin will catch on next and realize Brook Lynn has perhaps been protecting Louise this entire time.
Over with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), they’ll have some exciting news for Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda).
That could involve finalizing Ned’s adoption of Leo or perhaps the news of their upcoming vow renewal party.
As for Britt, she’ll quiz Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) about Leo’s case and hope things are going well.
Britt will also have some updates for Peter, so that may tie in with his imminent prison transfer and what Britt hopes will be a permanent stay.
Back with Carly, she’ll try to steal a few moments of peace, but Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will have other plans.
Ava may push Carly’s buttons and perhaps wonder if Carly would be better off just letting Sonny go.
Sonny will also have a significant run-in with someone, so that could involve an encounter with Nina or someone else who matters to him.
Across town, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will cause a scene at yoga class and potentially spark concern about how she’s really coping with her loss.
Next, Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) will have a gift for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Alexis keeps going back and forth on whether this friendship can happen – though we have to wonder if more than friendship is going on.
GH writers are devoting way too much time to Harmony and Alexis’ bond at this point, so it seems like a surprise romance could be brewing instead.
We’ll see how Alexis responds to Harmony’s gift, but it sounds like it has the potential to bring them even closer.
Brook Lynn will also spot Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) in a compromising position, so cohabitation could bring more complications.
Chase and Brook Lynn will have to get on the same page about what they’re feeling sooner or later – and when that happens, sparks are sure to fly.
As for Maxie, she’ll land in a tight spot. Maxie will scramble to come up with a reasonable explanation, so that could be in response to Austin’s questions.
Austin may remember more about the night of Louise’s birth and force Maxie to think fast.
However, Maxie may end up coming clean and choosing to trust Austin, especially if she feels like he’s not buying what she’s selling anymore.
Elsewhere, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri) will bump into Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), so that’ll bring some cute “Dream” family moments.
Then, it’ll be time for the teens’ long-awaited cabin trip. Esme will put a devious plan in motion – most likely involving the strong-dosage prescription drugs she picked up.
Esme will get under Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) skin before kicking off a game. As darkness falls at the cabin, things will take a troubling turn.
There’s a good chance Esme’s game will involve some secretly spiked drinks – and the results could be downright disastrous.
Esme will thoroughly enjoy causing chaos for Cameron, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will be on hand for the mayhem as well, but look for Esme to play the victim when it’s all over!
Will Esme try to push Cameron and Trina into bed together? Regardless, this cabin getaway is one the gang won’t soon forget.
