In tonight’s Grey’s Anatomy episode, Meredith’s surgery was a success. Hamilton was on his feet. His hands were no longer shaking and he was even able to play a game of chess with his wife. He was so happy about the improvements to his health that he asked Meredith to join his hospital on a permanent basis.

He asked her in front of a bunch people she didn’t know. She felt ambushed. She doesn’t want to stay on in Minnesota. She loves Seattle. Her children, her sisters, and her friends are back in Seattle. She doesn’t want to give that up and so she took Hamilton to task for ambushing her like that. She hadn’t appreciated it. She told him to never do it again.

But Hamilton still wanted her to join. He thought she would be a great addition to his hospital and he also wanted the recognition. Meredith’s name became a big deal after her surgery. she became infamous in medical communities. Everyone wanted to lure her away from Seattle. Hamilton was just the first one to offer it. Meredith was wanted and even her new boyfriend discussed her moving permanently. He said that she didn’t have to stay on all the time. She’ll be able to fly anywhere she wants if she joins the Minnesota team and her pay will boost significantly. And so Meredith did consider the offer.

Back in Seattle, the hospital treated one of the oddest cases they’ve ever had. They treated a man who came in with a snake bite and the snake was still wrapped up him. It was a massive python. It bit his owner when the poor guy was feeing him, but he didn’t want to let go and so it’s a good thing Winston knew all about snakes. He knew that spraying the mouth with alcohol would get the beast to uncoil. He then grabbed the snake with Link’s help and they freed the patient. The guy got treated for his snake bite. Winston and Link locked up the snake in the patient’s car and everything worked out for the best.

The whole snake thing revealed who were terrified snakes. Richard was one of them. Maggie was another. Maggie actually hadn’t known about Winston’s love for snakes until this incident came up and so Winston told her how he used to beg his mother for a snake when he was growing up. Winston loves snakes. He also knew best how to treat snake bites and so he stayed on as one of the doctors on the case. The doctors later got to talking about anything and everything. It soon came up that Wright had a crush on the woman who taught all he needed to know about his profession and this happened in front of Wright.

Wright was the resident who kissed Bailey. He had a massive crush on her. He kissed her because he though there was a vibe where there wasn’t. Bailey is married. Happily so. She didn’t want an affair or to leave her great husband for a resident and so she turned him down. Wright apologized. Only he was later assigned to her service. He was in on the snake surgery and he heard how Winston ended up marrying his crush. Bailey heard as it well. She hadn’t wanted to give Wright any ideas and she was reminding everyone to focus on the patient when the patient took a turn for the worse.

He flatlined. The doctors were treating him as Jo met a pregnant woman and her brother. The brother was cute. He was very supportive of his single mother sister. He was also shy and so the sister was the one who asked Jo out for him. Jo got out of it when asked. But she kept watch on the brother. She saw that he was a good guy and she later asked him out. She invited him to drinks at the bar next door. He took the offer. So, Jo was doing her best to move on from Link. She started developing feelings for him and the two even slept together except now that was over. Link was still in love with Amelia.

Amelia tried to talk to him like friends. He told her that he wasn’t ready for that stage and so right now he has to hate her or else he’s going to love her and what would be the point if they can’t be together.

After another talk with Wright, Bailey feared she was putting out signals. She talked to her husband Ben about it and he laughed it off. He said he wasn’t going anywhere. He loves her and that was never going to change.

Meredith ended up flying back to Seattle to see her kids and she brought Nick along with her so that she could introduce him to her kids.

THE END!
