Until B&B can lock Tom in for a substantial stint, a Bill and Katie reunion can’t really be explored.

Don Diamont is too talented to waste on Bill’s lunch rants at Il Giardino with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks).
Bill also popped up at the hospital briefly during Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) time there, but he’s just not getting anything juicy.
It’s clear that Bill is at his best when he’s driving a romantic storyline, so why not let him drift back in Brooke’s direction?
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will be even more conflicted once the truth about the Champagne label switch comes out.
Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) trick will be exposed thanks to Steffy’s flood of memories, but Ridge will have a hard time knowing whether he should reunite with Brooke or continue reconnecting with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen).
That could be why Bill feels the need to step up and defend Brooke. Bill might even confront Ridge and argue that he overreacted in the first place.
We’ll see Bill show plenty of support for Brooke, especially once it comes out that Sheila was behind the drunken New Year’s Eve sabotage.
Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) won’t give up on winning Brooke over, so that could serve as another way for Bill to protect Brooke.
Bill might push Deacon to get lost and spark another Brooke battle in the process.
Whatever the case, the week of May 16-20 will leave Bill in the position to stand up for Brooke.
B&B spoilers say Brooke’s honor will be defended in some way – and Bill will be the one leading the charge!
The show is always careful to keep Bill and Brooke’s bond alive on some level.
If Ridge and Taylor end up making a real go of their relationship, could Brooke and Bill get their own second chance?
