The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Friday, April 22 Recap – Steffy’s Alley Flashes Bring Sheila Terror

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, April 22, reveals that Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) alley flashes brought Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) terror. Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) also sought a second opinion, so here’s how all the B&B drama went down.

While Steffy and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) continued their family time with Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay), Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) sulked outside the room and got some supportive words from Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones).

Bridget then entered to examine Steffy and suggested she should get some rest. Liam took Kelly out while Bridget asked how Steffy was feeling.

Steffy was eager to go home with her husband and daughter, but Bridget insisted they should take things one step at a time.

In the waiting area, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) was appalled over Brooke implying she’d use this situation to play matchmaker!

Brooke was sorry and didn’t want to argue, but she didn’t understand how Taylor would let Steffy live in this fantasy world with Liam.

Taylor did her best to explain, but Brooke thought Taylor was putting too much of a burden on Hope and Liam.

There were also concerns about Kelly getting confused over Steffy calling Liam her husband.

After handing Kelly off with someone else, Liam joined the conversation and thought Kelly was OK.

Liam suggested that it was better than the alternative of wondering about her mom.

Liam understood Brooke’s frustration and thought Hope had superhuman patience right now.

Even so, Hope admitted it was weird to see Steffy thinking she was still married to Liam.

Brooke ranted about the toll this was taking on her daughter and said someone had to tell Steffy the truth.

Taylor fired back that it wasn’t going to happen.

Taylor refused to let anyone undermine Steffy’s recovery and basically acted like Hope could deal considering everything Steffy had been through.

Hope wondered if they were just supposed to let this go on for years. She insisted it was unsustainable – and Taylor understood that.

Nevertheless, Taylor argued that no one was going to cause a setback for Steffy.

Elsewhere in the hospital, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) urged Sheila to go home and get some rest.

Ridge assured Sheila that when they found out who was behind the shooting, she would be his first phone call.

Sheila knew Ridge just wanted rid of her and pointed out that even saving Taylor’s life didn’t buy her compassion.

Ridge was grateful, but he mentioned that Sheila was the only reason Taylor was on that roof in the first place.

After Sheila wished Taylor hadn’t showed up in time, Ridge admitted he didn’t want that. He acknowledged that Sheila was going through a lot and urged her to seek help from anyone but Taylor.

Sheila wondered why Ridge even cared, so he said he really didn’t.

Ridge just wanted Sheila alive for when they found out who did this to their kids – that way, they could get justice.

When Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) arrived, he got updates on Steffy’s memory troubles and felt he could finesse things while questioning her.

Baker felt confident that Steffy’s memories would resurface eventually and that the perp would be caught.

Sheila lurked in the back of the room while Baker questioned Steffy with Ridge present.

Steffy wanted to help, so she tried to think back to that night in the alley behind Il Giardino.

When Baker asked why Steffy was there, she only knew it was for something urgent.

Steffy began to have some fuzzy memories of a “deliveries only” sign and crates in the alley.

Nothing was very clear, but Baker kept coaching her and hoped she’d let the memories come. As Ridge asked who shot Steffy, she stared at Sheila and left her nervous.

Back with Brooke, she got Bridget to give a second professional opinion. Brooke wondered if Steffy was too fragile to handle the truth right now.

Bridget said it’d be best if Steffy remembered on her own and advised giving her a little more time.

Bridget noted that it could be happening right now since Steffy was in the middle of Baker’s interview.

Bridget thought they might touch on something that would help Steffy remember John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) was dead – and maybe even who shot him.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy won’t face total recall just yet, but Sheila will remain terrified of the possibility!
