The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Friday, August 26, teases that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) will panic over Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) seeing Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) after Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) phone call serves as a warning.
For starters, let’s talk about the Forrester party that’s winding down. Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) was a little late to the gathering, but Eric Forrester (John McCook) was happy to welcome John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) adoptive mom.
Unfortunately, there’s lingering tension for some of the Forresters. Li chose to hide the truth about Finn’s survival from Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), so Steffy and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) still seem especially irritated.
It’ll be interesting to see if any of that tension erupts, but Finn will no doubt defend Li if it does. Regardless, Ridge will head to Il Giardino at some point, so we’ll definitely see some erupting tension there!
Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) past with Deacon will bring hostility in the present since Ridge still holds a grudge. As the conflict heats up, Ridge and Deacon will clash over their relationships with the Logan ladies – namely Hope and Brooke.
Deacon will feel like he’s made real progress when it comes to bonding with Hope. Of course, Deacon may suggest he’d be closer to Brooke too if Ridge would let her off the leash.
Ridge will think Brooke is better off staying as far away from Deacon as possible – and he’ll feel confident Deacon is going to let Hope down as well.
Sadly, Ridge is probably right about that last part since Deacon has doomed himself with a terrible roommate. The decision to let Sheila hide out at his place will inevitably come back to bite Deacon.
Hope thought Deacon sounded stressed on the phone, so she decided to pop over and check on him. That brought Hope’s latest discovery, which will soon lead to her interaction with the mystery woman.
On Friday’s B&B episode, Sheila will eventually reveal herself to Hope – though she’ll have her disguise on and will change her voice. Hope will be surprised to learn Sheila is the lucky lady in Deacon’s life and should have plenty of questions about how they met.
Sheila will have to come up with a phony story about her identity and romance with Deacon, but she’ll sell it as best as she can!
Over with Brooke and Liam, they’ll open up to each other about their concerns regarding Hope, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and the Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) custody drama.
Later, Liam will call Deacon and ask if he can speak with Hope. That’ll leave Deacon in panic mode since Hope won’t be with him.
Deacon will realize Hope must be back at his place with Sheila, so he’ll race home and try to clean up the mess his roomie’s making. We’ll provide updates as other B&B news becomes available.
