The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Friday, February 18 Recap – Ridge Chooses Life With Taylor and Passion Erupts

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, February 18, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) chose Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) as passion erupted – and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) admitted she was a horrible person, but she still believed she belonged with her husband.

At the cliff house on Friday’s B&B episode, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) urged Ridge to view this as an opportunity to make a life with Taylor and a life with the family he never should’ve left behind.

Taylor thought Steffy was putting too much pressure on Ridge, but Steffy was trying to take the pressure off instead.

Steffy thought Ridge’s future was standing right in front of him and ultimately left her parents alone so they could talk.

Taylor acknowledged that no matter how old kids get, they just want their parents together.

Taylor just wanted what was best for Ridge, but she felt Ridge had to decide what that was.

Outside, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) told Brooke that he knew what she did with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan).

Thomas said drinking wasn’t an excuse and didn’t think it mattered what triggered it. Thomas pushed Brooke to turn around and leave, but she refused.

When Brooke called Ridge’s phone, it rang in Thomas’ pocket.

Brooke was outraged over Thomas taking Ridge’s phone, but Thomas argued that Ridge’s future was with Taylor. He felt it was time for Brooke to accept that.

Brooke admitted she was a horrible person who didn’t deserve Ridge, but she knew they belonged together.

Brooke wondered if Thomas really thought he could keep her from Ridge, but Thomas implied there was nothing she could do.

Thomas asked if Brooke was going to throw him off a cliff again and pointed out it didn’t earn her too many points last time.

Brooke glared at Thomas and fired back that she would NEVER give up on Ridge!

Back inside, Ridge pushed Taylor to offer her honest opinion. Taylor confessed that she didn’t think Brooke was going to change after all these years.

Taylor felt this is who Brooke was as a person and that she would always turn to another man in a moment of weakness.

Taylor thought Ridge deserved so much better, so Ridge thanked her for her honesty and talked about how his head was spinning.

Ridge previously thought his home was with Brooke, but he acknowledged that what he had with Taylor was amazing once upon a time.

Taylor remembered coming back to a life that wasn’t there anymore, but Ridge touched her face tenderly and wondered if he should be there with her.

Ridge thought maybe he should be with someone honest – someone who never betrayed him and had always supported him.

Ridge leaned in for a kiss, but Taylor pulled back. She warned that she couldn’t go through this again and asked what he was saying.

Ridge said he wanted to come home if Taylor would have him, so she kissed him passionately before they pulled apart and stared at each other.

At Brooke’s place, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) worried since it felt like Brooke’s marriage was already ending, but Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) tried to stay positive.

When Brooke came home with updates, Liam and Hope were shocked to learn Thomas blocked her from seeing Ridge and took his father’s phone.

Brooke suggested her marriage was slipping through her fingers, especially now that Ridge was stuck in that house with Taylor!

Back with Thomas, he filled Steffy in on how he stopped Brooke and got his sister’s approval.

Thomas and Steffy hoped that Ridge was realizing what his life would be like with Taylor instead.

At Il Giardino, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) realized Brooke saw Deacon as the victim and Ridge as the bully aggressor.

Deacon said he stopped fighting because of Brooke and was appalled over Ridge thinking that he’d do something to make Brooke fall off the wagon.

Deacon wondered who would do something as cruel as spike an alcoholic’s drink, so Sheila flashed back to her Champagne label swap and replied with “who indeed.”

Sheila felt it would be the end of an era if Brooke and Ridge were truly over.

Sheila figured Deacon was hoping for a fairytale reconciliation, but she offered to be there for him if Brooke turned him down.

Sheila made it clear that she’d be watching the situation and sauntered off, so Deacon stood there looking pensive.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Sheila will continue to scheme, so don’t miss what’s in store.
