The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, July 8, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) devastated Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) by choosing Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) – and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) got a shocking visitor at Il Giardino.
First on Friday’s B&B episode, Brooke discussed her broken ankle with her guests for the barbeque bash at her house.
There was also talk about Ridge moving back in with Brooke, so Eric Forrester (John McCook) felt that was the perfect reason to celebrate.
Brooke said that Ridge was coming, but when it happened depended on how Taylor took the news of their reunion.
Since everyone was gathered, Eric took this opportunity to announce Donna Logan’s (Jennifer Gareis) return to Forrester Creations.
Donna loved being able to openly love Eric like this – and he was definitely on the same page about that.
Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) checked on Paris Buckingham (Diamond White), who was glad to be surrounded by all this love right now.
When it came to Paris being left at the altar, Zende thought she’d forget all about that one day when she was blissfully married to some awesome guy.
There were some jokes about Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) sprouted chili, but Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) defended the recipe – though Liam had a batch for the carnivores as well.
Hope also shared a sweet moment with Brooke and was glad over the steps forward she was taking with Ridge.
At the cliff house, Ridge turned down Taylor’s dinner invitation since he was hosting a barbeque with Brooke at her place.
Taylor realized Ridge’s separation was officially over, so she asked when this happened and why.
Ridge mentioned Brooke breaking her ankle, so Taylor sarcastically said that was a reason to give a marriage another go.
However, Ridge suggested they were taking things one step at a time – further irritating Taylor since that’s what they had said about their own romance.
Taylor knew Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) manipulation was a tough pill to swallow, but she still felt that what she shared with Ridge was real.
Since Taylor was visibly upset, she dropped some fruit out of the nearby bowl and was clearly struggling to compose herself.
Ridge tried to comfort Taylor, but she couldn’t seem to fall out of love with him and didn’t think his “destiny” was healthy.
Taylor was certain that Brooke would hurt Ridge again and knew it’d be hard to watch since she only wanted his happiness.
Ridge tried to go in for a hug, but Taylor put her hand up and nodded slightly toward the door.
Once Ridge left, he headed back to Brooke’s place and hinted that that breaking the news didn’t go well.
Brooke was sorry since she cared about Taylor too, but she also felt that Taylor was strong.
After Brooke pointed out that Taylor was safe with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) at the cliff house, she said it’d be awful if Taylor were to fall into the wrong hands.
At Il Giardino, Deacon was surprised to see Taylor and figured she’d want to steer clear after what happened to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) there.
Taylor admitted she was trying to figure things out, so she said it occurred to her that Sheila might’ve contacted Deacon.
If Deacon had heard from Sheila or knew where she might be, Taylor needed him to tell her now.
Meanwhile, Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) continued to celebrate their reunion.
After Quinn admitted to filling Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) in, she said he was concerned at first.
Nevertheless, Wyatt eventually saw how happy Quinn was and decided he was also happy for her.
Although Quinn was still miffed over Donna luring Eric into her love den, she was happier than she’d ever been with Carter and ultimately got passionate with him.
Quinn thought that Carter should let himself off the hook for leaving Paris at the altar, so they enjoyed their bliss and couldn’t wait to see where their love story took them.
