The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) feud may soon be back on over Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). As a devoted sister, Steffy seems poised to support Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) fight for his son, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
During the week of August 8-12, Thomas will catch Hope off guard with a shocking new plan.
We’ll see Thomas insist he wants a permanent Douglas reunion, so he’ll share his desire to make that happen.
Of course, Hope will inevitably grow concerned about Thomas’ throwing Douglas’ life into turmoil.
Douglas mostly lives with Hope, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Beth Spencer (River Davidson), but he’s allowed visits with Thomas.
However, there have already been some issues when it comes to Thomas feeling like he has to ask for permission to spend time with his son.
Both Steffy and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) have expressed their disapproval regarding that in the past.
Now that Thomas has been rehabilitated, Taylor and Steffy feel like he should be with Douglas.
The same goes for Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), who should also back Thomas up when it comes to the looming Douglas battle.
It certainly sounds like Thomas could go after full custody, so Steffy may support the idea wholeheartedly.
That’s particularly true now that Steffy’s own family is coming back together.
It could strengthen Steffy’s desire to make sure Thomas gets his own happy ending with Douglas.
Nevertheless, Hope should have some worries, especially considering Thomas’ history.
Even recently, Thomas was in cahoots with twisted Sheila, so that could be something that Hope brings up.
Liam might be on Hope’s side here and argue that there’s no need for a massive change.
Perhaps Hope and Liam will offer some extra visits, but it doesn’t look like that’s going to be enough for Thomas.
As the conflict between Hope and Thomas heats up, it could reignite the feud between Hope and Steffy as well.
Since that female rivalry has always been a big part of B&B drama, this seems like a good way to keep it going without making a love triangle the focus.
Instead of fighting over Liam, Steffy and Hope can fight over whether Thomas deserves custody of Douglas!
