The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Monday, February 21, tease that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will do Hope Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) dirty work while Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) pumps the brakes with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
At the cliff house, Taylor will be confused about what she wants.
There’s certainly a big part of Taylor that wants Ridge any way she can get him – as evidenced by the passionate kiss they shared in Friday’s cliffhanger.
However, Monday’s B&B episode will bring the harsh reality for Taylor.
The truth is Taylor can’t trust Ridge to think clearly right now. Ridge is dealing with some deep wounds, so going all in with him would be a huge mistake.
As much as Taylor would love to embrace a fresh start together right this instant, logic will take over and tell her that’s a quick way to get hurt.
Instead, Taylor will pump the brakes a bit and try to take a more platonic approach.
Taylor will set some boundaries, but they’re still going to spend the night together in a friendly context.
Nevertheless, Ridge will become increasingly convinced that Brooke can’t give him the loyalty he needs and will feel more drawn to Taylor than ever.
Of course, that’s exactly what Brooke is worried about. Since Brooke’s marriage is already hanging by a thread, she fears Taylor could be what snaps it.
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) wouldn’t let Brooke see Ridge or even contact him, so Hope will come up with another solution.
Hope will think Liam should head to the cliff house and play detective a bit to see what’s really going on with Ridge.
Hope may argue that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) won’t turn Liam away since he’s Kelly Spencer’s (Avalon and Collette Gray) father, but Liam may be concerned about making things worse.
The more people that are involved in this, the messier it could become!
Even so, Liam will do what Hope asks, which could lead to grilling Steffy and Thomas a bit in the coming episodes.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Brooke had better brace for the worst since Ridge won’t budge on his stance anytime soon.
