The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, July 18, teases that John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) best chance at freedom will come through an ally while Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) scores Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) confession.
In Taylor’s office, she’ll continue her discussion with Deacon, so that’ll bring a bit of a role reversal.
Deacon will play therapist for a moment and wonder what Taylor really thinks about Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) going back to Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Taylor may argue that she already told Deacon, but he’ll want the uncensored version.
Since Deacon isn’t the judgmental type, Taylor already seems to be developing an easy vibe around him.
Taylor ordinarily wouldn’t let her patient hijack the therapy session and start questioning her instead, but she’ll make an exception – mostly because she’ll have some things to get off her chest.
B&B spoilers say Taylor will unload her frustration over this “Bridge” reunion and will predict it’s going to end in disaster.
That said, Taylor knows Ridge is always going to sign up for more pain, so she may not think anyone else’s opinion on the situation really matters.
Still, Taylor will appreciate the opportunity to dump her true feelings on Deacon and strengthen their bond.
At the hideout, Sheila will have a meltdown and fear she’s killed Finn with that syringe injection.
All Sheila wanted to do was sedate Finn into submission, but she may worry that it’s taking Finn too long to wake up.
Finn’s monitors might even go wild and leave Sheila extra concerned about the possibility of a deadly outcome that sticks.
Mike Guthrie (Ken Hanes) will try to calm Sheila down once he comes back, but he’ll also feel this has gone way too far.
Sheila can’t keep this up forever, so Mike will think she needs to turn herself over to the cops and let Finn head to the hospital.
Once Sheila regains her composure, she’ll accuse Mike of turning against her and may point out that bad things happen to her enemies!
Sheila will push Mike to stay in line, but he’ll grow increasingly fearful about this arrangement – and that’ll give Finn his best hope of freedom.
Finn will ultimately awaken and realize Mike is wavering on his Sheila alliance.
That’ll give Finn a shot at making Mike his own ally instead, but there’ll be some hurdles when it comes to his new plan.
