The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, March 14, reveals that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) told Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) to marry Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) while Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) martyr act failed with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
In Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) bedroom, she pumped the brakes after a steamy make-out session with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) – though she admitted it was nice.
Taylor teased that she might be into it if Ridge ever did it again.
However, Taylor thought it was too soon for Ridge to know if he was ready to move on.
Ridge agreed he had a lot to work through, but he at least knew he wanted to move on from the trauma and heartache.
Taylor liked taking things moment by moment with Ridge and said this was a good one. She had missed Ridge’s company and never stopped loving him.
Ridge kissed Taylor and snuggled in bed beside her. He was appreciative of how understanding Taylor had been – and Taylor was grateful to be there with him.
When Hope showed up at Brooke’s place, she was stunned to learn her mother had set Ridge free.
Brooke insisted that she told Ridge to go have a life without misery and sent him to Taylor, but Hope argued that Taylor had made mistakes of her own.
Hope felt that Brooke had to keep fighting, but Brooke worried that Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) had been right all those years ago – that she was just a “slut from the valley.”
Brooke now understood that Stephanie wanted Ridge to be with a woman of substance and find true happiness.
Brooke wondered where it all went wrong and asked why she let her destiny slip away.
Hope refused to buy Brooke’s “whole martyr act” and knew that her mom still wanted a life with Ridge.
Brooke confessed that part of her was hoping Ridge would come back, forgive her mistakes and move forward.
Brooke was distraught since she never wanted her marriage to fall apart like this.
At Forrester Creations on Monday’s B&B episode, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) questioned why Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) acted like he was carrying some sort of burden.
Steffy didn’t understand Thomas’ sudden attitude shift regarding Brooke.
Thomas countered that he was just saying they shouldn’t kick Brooke when she’s down.
After all, they got what they wanted since Ridge and Taylor were back together.
Steffy thought it seemed like Thomas felt guilty about that and couldn’t wrap her head around him feeling bad for Brooke.
Thomas admitted that maybe Brooke did deserve a little pity, but Steffy vehemently disagreed.
Steffy urged Thomas to stop feeling sorry for Brooke, who brought all this on herself.
While a Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) flashback haunted Thomas, Ridge cuddled in bed with Taylor – and Hope leaned against Brooke to comfort her.
At Carter’s loft, Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) reeled over the news that Carter and Paris were in love.
Grace thought Carter knew he wasn’t worthy of her daughter and said there was “no chance in hell” she’d let this continue.
Grace felt that tying herself to Carter would be Paris’ downfall.
Grace didn’t want to see Paris sabotage her career and future that she was building with the Forresters.
Grace also wondered how Zende would feel if he knew Carter was the reason Paris refused to be exclusive.
Grace warned Carter to tell Paris it’s over and convince her to go back to Zende.
In the end, Carter decided Grace was right. He loved Paris too much to let her throw everything away.
Carter said that if Zende proposed, Paris should say yes and be his wife.
