The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) may plead with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and bargain to keep the Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) custody case out of court.
Thomas is used to Hope constantly defending him, even when naysayers like Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) insist he can’t be trusted.
Hope’s faith in Thomas is something that matters a great deal to him, but that faith will be shaken.
Thomas can’t pretend he’s a changed man anymore since he set Brooke up to take the fall for that CPS call.
Of course, this wasn’t just any old scheme. Thomas called Child Protective Services on himself and forced Douglas to endure a bunch of confusing questions.
Although Douglas wasn’t too upset over the ordeal, Thomas took a big risk with his plot.
We’re talking about a situation where Thomas gambled with Douglas’ emotions and put his own custody rights on the line.
That alone will leave Hope furious, but she’ll be even angrier when she realizes Thomas pushed Douglas to keep quiet about the recordings.
Douglas was stressed to the max since he has a deep sense of right and wrong – unlike his manipulative dad.
Thomas is the reason Douglas went through such a tough time, so Hope may give him an earful and realize he’s not the father she thought he was.
Naturally, we also have to consider the fact that Thomas’ victim was Hope’s mom and Douglas’ grandma.
Hope will have so many reasons to be outraged over this Brooke frame-up and may push for full custody of Douglas.
At that point, Thomas may start to have some real remorse about his actions.
Despite Thomas’ devious side and willingness to drag his son into trouble, he loves Douglas and wants to be there for him.
That’s when Thomas may realize he screwed up spectacularly and could lose Douglas over this.
Hope and Liam could easily threaten to take Thomas to court if he won’t surrender Douglas to the cabin full-time.
Will Thomas plead for mercy and try to salvage Hope’s view of him?
Could Thomas bargain over Douglas and attempt to keep the custody case out of the courtroom?
