The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thursday, January 20 Recap – Brooke Panics Over Kiss Witness – Carter Home Alone with Paris

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, January 20, teases that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) panicked over a kiss witness while Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) found himself home alone with Paris Buckingham (Diamond White).

At the cabin on Thursday’s B&B episode, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) stood his ground on seeing Grandma kissing Santa Claus.

Douglas explained that there was a man in a red and white hat on New Year’s Eve, but Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Annika Noelle) needed a little more convincing.

Douglas worried he was in trouble and thought they seemed upset about Grandma kissing Santa.

However, Liam and Hope assured Douglas they were just trying to figure out what was going on.

Since Douglas seemed so sure, Hope wanted him to walk her through exactly what happened again.

Douglas repeated that he peeked in the living room window and saw Grandma kissing Santa, though he admitted he couldn’t really see Santa’s face – just his hat.

After Douglas once again insisted this happened for real, Hope and Liam sent him off to do his homework.

Once Liam was alone with Hope, he wondered “what the hell” that was.

Liam questioned who Douglas was talking about – and Hope acknowledged that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) wasn’t home that night.

When Liam asked who could’ve seen Douglas that night, Hope said the only way to know for sure was to have a conversation with her mother.

At the main house, Ridge blamed himself for not being there for Brooke that night. He wanted to keep going to meetings with Brooke and argued that it’d be the two of them together forever.

Ridge confessed that he needed Brooke a lot more than Brooke needed him.

Brooke felt bad for creating another issue for them on top of everything else, but Ridge argued that they were committed – for better or for worse.

Ridge suggested Brooke might never learn what triggered her, but she felt it was important to figure out.

Ridge once again blamed himself for leaving Brooke so he could go off and be a big fashion star.

Ridge hated that he couldn’t take Brooke’s pain away, but she suggested no one could. Brooke said she wanted to make better choices and make sure what happened never happened again.

Ridge didn’t want Brooke to feel ashamed since he valued her honesty so much. It made him want to be a better person for Brooke, so he got a bit choked up.

Back at the cabin, Douglas found Liam and seemed uneasy. He didn’t want Hope and Liam to be disappointed in him, so Liam said they were so happy and proud that Douglas came to them.

When Liam admitted Hope was off having a little chat with Brooke, Douglas asked if Mom was going to tell Grandma that he saw her kissing Santa.

Meanwhile, Brooke was thinking about her night with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) when Hope interrupted.

After Brooke mentioned that Ridge was at the office, she assured Hope that everything was fine.

Hope seemed uncomfortable and had a question about a story that Douglas told. She confessed that Douglas revealed something they’d been dismissing for a few weeks.

Hope still wasn’t sure she understood it, but she ultimately admitted Douglas saw Brooke kissing Santa Claus.

Once Brooke thought back to Deacon wearing that red and white hat while he kissed her, she looked horrified.

Hope could sense the shift in Brooke and demanded to know what happened while Ridge was gone.

“So what happened, Mom? Mom! Answer me please,” Hope insisted.

At Carter’s loft, he welcomed Paris in so they could talk about her financial portfolio.

Carter impressed Paris with all his knowledge, but she was grateful for his advice regarding Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz), too.

Paris knew she wasn’t ready for marriage whenever she looked at Carter. She reiterated that she couldn’t stop thinking about their kiss and admitted Carter was one of the reasons she couldn’t fully commit to Zende.

After Paris and Carter suggested they liked being there together, they talked about getting caught up in the moment on New Year’s Eve.

Paris originally felt bad about the timing, but she noted that the circumstances had changed. Zende was out with a model – and now Paris was alone with Carter.

Carter once again admitted he couldn’t get the New Year’s Eve kiss off his mind, so that led to new kisses between them.

Paris and Carter pulled back briefly to acknowledge this could get complicated, but they didn’t seem to care and focused on making out.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Paris and Carter are going to face more obstacles than they anticipate, so stay tuned to see what’s in store.
