The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, November 17, reveals that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) blasted con artist Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) during a support session with her sisters – and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) overlooked Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) mistake in keeping quiet.
At the Forrester mansion, Eric Forrester (John McCook) was in disbelief about Brooke calling CPS on Thomas.
Taylor admitted she was in shock and thought it was unforgivable for Brooke to go after Thomas, who was such a good influence on Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri).
Douglas shot Thomas a dirty look while Eric insisted this must be a misunderstanding.
However, Ridge argued that he heard Brooke’s voice and got Thomas to back him up.
Thomas said he heard what Ridge heard and that it was definitely Brooke’s voice. Douglas looked angry with Thomas, but he was eventually sent upstairs.
As for Taylor, she realized Ridge knew this before he came to Aspen and didn’t say anything.
Thomas pointed out that they promised they wouldn’t spill to anyone, especially Brooke.
Steffy argued that Brooke couldn’t get off this easy and wanted to make sure she got what she deserved. Thomas, on the other hand, pushed Steffy to just let it go.
After Thomas talked about the pocketknife incident that started all this, Taylor said that Brooke was looking for an excuse to make Thomas appear unstable.
Ridge explained how they reached out to Walter Barnes (Steve Richard Harris) and heard the recording, which included Brooke’s name.
Eric asked if Ridge confronted Brooke about this, so he said he gave her every chance to come clean.
Ridge ranted about Brooke lying to his face and flashed back to Brooke acting confused about what she did wrong.
Steffy acknowledged that what Brooke did was awful and asked if this was why Ridge was marrying Taylor.
Ridge said it was a fair question and pointed out that Brooke broke his trust in so many ways, but that wasn’t why he was there.
Ridge insisted he loved Taylor and wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.
Taylor said Ridge had shown her that he wanted to be with her, so she believed him and would continue to do so.
After Ridge and Taylor shared a kiss, the others shared a toast to the wonderful couple and the beautiful days ahead.
Taylor assured Ridge that she wouldn’t let him down and promised that she’d always be honest with him.
At Brooke’s place on Thursday’s B&B episode, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) wanted to support her, especially since Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) was out of town on business.
Donna pointed out that Ridge was moving from one woman to the next and couldn’t understand why Taylor didn’t see that as a big red flag.
Katie wondered about the Thomas connection that Brooke mentioned, so Brooke suggested he was a con artist who picked away at her marriage to get what he wanted.
The conversation shifted to Ridge and Taylor’s imminent wedding, but Katie didn’t see how Ridge could celebrate this marriage when Brooke was heartbroken.
Brooke was trying to come to grips with the situation, but Donna said maybe there was still hope.
Katie agreed since something obviously happened to make Ridge leave Brooke.
This wasn’t about Ridge’s undying love for Taylor, so Katie didn’t think this marriage stood a chance.
As a result, Katie thought Brooke shouldn’t give up on a life with Ridge.
