The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thursday, September 22 Recap – Bill Flirts with Li – Ridge Loves Both Taylor & Brooke

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, September 22, reveals that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) flirted with Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) while Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) told Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) loved both of them. Let’s talk about how all the B&B drama played out.

At the cliff house, Taylor remained skeptical about whether Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) prevented Brooke from speaking with Ridge.

That said, Taylor agreed to talk to Steffy if there was truth to it.

Brooke snapped that of course there was truth to it and refused to let Taylor’s children actively try to destroy her marriage.

As far as Brooke was concerned, Taylor needed to stop Steffy from interfering – and she needed to do it today.

Taylor sarcastically said she’d ground Steffy as soon as she got home from school, but Brooke thought Steffy needed a reminder that she was a grown woman.

Brooke felt Steffy should be focused on her own family, but Taylor argued that Steffy was worried about Ridge.

That led to Brooke grumbling about being a monster because of her past mistakes while Steffy was still a sweet little angel.

Steffy pointed out that Brooke had made the same mistakes over and over for decades, but Brooke insisted Ridge chose her and that nothing would come between them.

Talk turned to Taylor’s behavior, but she said she was just following Ridge’s lead and wasn’t the homewrecker Brooke thought she was.

Brooke brought up the kiss in Monaco and wasn’t buying Taylor’s innocent act.

Taylor admitted she was sorry and added that she didn’t have any intention of making a play for Ridge in Monaco.

Brooke wondered why she should believe Taylor, but Taylor said she didn’t want to hurt Brooke and that seeing her in pain didn’t do anything for her.

However, Taylor loved Ridge for everything that he was and reflected on how much he understood her.

After Taylor said Ridge was in love with both of them, Brooke asked what she was getting at.

Taylor insisted Ridge had a torn heart.

According to Taylor, Ridge was desperately trying to figure out whether to stay in his marriage to Brooke or move on to new life with her.

At Forrester Creations, Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) questioned Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) about what was up.

Hope didn’t want to put Paris in the middle and didn’t think there was anything she could do anyway.

This was bigger than just Hope and Steffy; this was about the history of their families going back years.

Soon after, Hope confronted Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) in private about Steffy’s actions.

Thomas wanted Hope to be able to trust him and know she was getting the truth, even when it disappointed her.

With that in mind, Thomas confessed that he was standing right there when Steffy intercepted Brooke’s call.

Thomas acknowledged that the move was aggressive, but Hope got frustrated with him since he didn’t try to stop Steffy and didn’t seem to think it was wrong.

If one missed phone call could ruin a relationship, Thomas didn’t think it was much of one.

Hope still wasn’t happy about Thomas’ view of all this, but he argued that it was complicated.

Even so, Hope felt that what Steffy did was low and added that she was deliberately undermining Brooke’s marriage.

Thomas didn’t want their families to mess up the good place he was in with Hope.

After they quoted Shakespeare, Thomas suggested that if Romeo and Juliet could figure it out, then they could, too.

Hope reminded Thomas that Romeo and Juliet both died in the end, so he realized that was a bad comparison.

Thomas assured Hope that he appreciated the extra time with Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) and that he understood her worry over her mother.

Nevertheless, Thomas felt that he felt that same worry along with Steffy for their own parents.

At Il Giardino, Bill paid a woman’s bill and reminded her that he had deep pockets.

Since Bill had a huge release party coming up and needed the best, the woman said she’d have a venue list for him by the end of the day.

Once Bill saw Li and confirmed she was alone, he asked if he could join her.

Li thought it looked like Bill ate already, but he claimed he was suddenly very hungry again and turned on the charm.

There was more talk about Li saving John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) life and how impressed Bill was with her.

Li felt bad about how she handled the situation with Steffy, but Bill urged her to stop beating herself up.

Bill also mentioned the fire and passion he saw in Li’s eyes from the beginning. That was perhaps why Bill was so drawn to Li.

After Li once again thanked Bill for saving her in the alley, she called him a good man.

Bill thought that was stretching it considering all the bad things he’d done, but she quoted his own words back to him and urged him to move past the regrets.

Bill liked getting to know this version of Li, so she cracked a joke about the disheveled version he found before.

After Bill suggested he liked that version too, he felt lucky to have this strong, accomplished and beautiful woman sitting across from him.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Bill and Li could face more flying sparks soon, so stay tuned.
