The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Tuesday, February 22, teases that Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) emergency will bring Eric Forrester (John McCook) rushing over while Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) gives up Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) phone.
At the cliff house, it looks like the show will jump ahead to the morning after Ridge and Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) night together.
B&B spoilers insist that Taylor and Ridge didn’t go all the way, which is probably for the best under the circumstances.
There’s plenty of time for Ridge to make love to Taylor again, but he needs to focus on getting closure with Brooke first.
Of course, Taylor will want to make sure Ridge is still ready to put Brooke behind him and come home to her instead.
After Taylor asks if Ridge has any regrets about what happened, he should confirm this feels right.
Ridge will always love Brooke, but he also loves Taylor and believes she’s the woman he should be with now.
As for Ridge’s missing phone, he’ll go on the hunt for it soon. That’ll lead to Ridge asking Thomas questions until his son ultimately surrenders.
Thomas will give up the phone he’s been holding hostage and perhaps admit he denied Brooke entrance to the cliff house, too.
Ridge may argue that Thomas shouldn’t have meddled, but he might also admit the Brooke break was nice.
That’s especially true since it allowed Ridge to get clarity on what he wants – or at least what he’s convinced himself he wants.
Ridge is prepared to move on from Brooke with Taylor by his side, but he’ll still be affected by the flood of messages he missed on his phone.
In the end, Ridge will know he needs to have a follow-up discussion with Brooke and tell her in no uncertain terms that their marriage is over.
Of course, Brooke has already been fearing the worst, but Eric will try to talk her off the ledge when he’s summoned through a terrified phone call.
After Brooke tells the story of her drunken New Year’s Eve with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and all the drama that followed, Eric will be floored.
Brooke should confess Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) spied her kiss with Deacon and wound up spilling the beans.
That gave Taylor a chance to break the betrayal news to Ridge first – and then Brooke defended Deacon after Ridge went after him.
Eric will get why Ridge is upset and won’t think Brooke has made the best choices, but he’ll be proud of her for getting her sobriety back on track.
That’ll be what’s most important in Eric’s eyes.
Eric won’t think it’s doing any good for Brooke to blame herself for drinking again.
Eric will mostly blame the alcohol for Brooke and Ridge’s problems, so he’ll stay hopeful about them getting past this bump in the road.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Brooke will lean on Eric for support as Ridge prepares to push for a divorce.
