The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 8, reveals that Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) had a dating quiz for Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) while Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) objected to Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) ruined life. Here’s how all the B&B action played out.
At Forrester Creations, Thomas got inquisitive Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) off his back by acting like he was just being protective of Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen).
Ridge insisted Taylor was his rock and hoped Thomas knew how much he cared for his mother.
Thomas indeed knew, but he hoped that things would be different this time.
Although Thomas was concerned about Ridge falling into the same old pattern of forgiving Brooke, Ridge suggested Brooke wasn’t who he thought she was.
Ridge also pointed out Brooke wasn’t blameless despite taking responsibility for her drinking.
Ridge didn’t think that let Brooke off the hook for everything, so Thomas was able to justify his secret-keeping in that moment.
In Taylor’s office, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) babbled on about Brooke showing her true colors.
Sheila thought Taylor must be feeling a little good over Brooke’s misery, but Taylor denied that.
Instead, Taylor thought Brooke was unwell and mentioned how something triggered her that night.
Sheila acted like Brooke would be fine and wanted Taylor to enjoy her reunion with Ridge without any worries.
Taylor maintained that Brooke was sick and pointed out that Ridge still wanted answers.
Sheila suggested they’d probably never know what triggered Brooke and tried to bring the conversation back to Taylor’s renewed romance with Ridge.
Although Taylor knew Sheila had put a lot of energy into earning her trust, she just wasn’t comfortable with this conversation.
Sheila understood and apologized, but she hoped she could be closer to Taylor someday.
Sheila told Taylor that she deserved to win and expressed her desire to see Taylor happy.
After Sheila reflected on how Taylor had come back to Los Angeles and reunited with Ridge, she said that’s exactly the way she would’ve orchestrated it!
Later, Thomas stopped by Sheila’s hotel room and admitted he didn’t tell Ridge about her scheme against Brooke.
However, Thomas complained about Ridge and Taylor’s reunion happening at the expense of ruining Brooke’s life. He didn’t approve of Sheila playing with someone’s sobriety.
Sheila felt it was only a matter of time until Brooke hurt Ridge again.
Sheila argued that she didn’t make Brooke betray Ridge or make her lie about it.
Thomas still felt this was wrong, but Sheila pushed him to let Taylor win just this once.
Sheila felt Thomas should just keep quiet and watch his parents get the chance they deserve.
If Thomas wanted Taylor and Ridge to have their happily ever after, Sheila thought he needed to be smart and keep the secret forever.
Back at Taylor’s office, she grew concerned over Ridge’s news on Thomas.
Ridge insisted it was fine and added that Thomas was happy they were spending time together.
Ridge confessed he just needed an excuse to see Taylor, but she assured Ridge that he never needed one and hugged him tightly.
At Forrester Creations, Zende showed off a new design to Paris and admitted she was his muse.
Paris got uncomfortable and changed the subject to Sequoyah (Shireen Crutchfield), the model Zende had been casually dating.
When Paris wondered if Zende was going out with Sequoyah tonight, he asked if it’d bother Paris.
Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) walked in, so Zende encouraged him to join the conversation as their friend – though Zende assumed he already knew the answer to his question.
Zende was aware it didn’t bother Paris and admitted he was still trying to get used to this idea of keeping things casual. He knew it was none of his business, but he asked if Paris was seeing anyone else.
Zende said that even if Paris didn’t know about Sequoyah because of work, he still would’ve told her.
After thinking for a moment, Zende questioned whether Paris would even want to know.
Paris seemed uneasy as she suggested she wouldn’t want to put Zende on the spot. Zende then wondered if that’s what Paris thought he was doing now.
All Zende was trying to say was that he still cared and hadn’t forgotten about Paris. He hoped that Paris hadn’t forgotten about him either.
Carter didn’t think he belonged in this discussion, so Zende was apologetic – though he thanked Carter for being there for them anyway.
Afterward, Zende flirted with Sequoyah before acting like he might have to pull an all-nighter at work.
Zende said he’d let Sequoyah know about any plans for later.
Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) showed up and overheard Zende turning down an evening with a beautiful woman who was interested in him.
Grace wondered if that was because of Zende’s deadlines at work or because he’d rather be out with Paris.
At Carter’s loft, he beat himself up over a work mistake and tried to get his head back in the game.
Carter grabbed a drink from the fridge before flashing back to making love to Paris.
Once Paris knocked on the door, she begged Carter to let her in and admitted she couldn’t stop thinking about him.
Paris assumed it was the same for Carter and cut him off when he tried to object.
It wasn’t long until Paris and Carter were kissing passionately despite all the drama.
