The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for the week of August 8-12 teases that Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) announcement will bring chaos before Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) comforts a terrified Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
First, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will face a romantic dilemma since he’s got feelings for both Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen).
We’ll see Ridge struggle to keep his mind on Brooke since he locked lips with Taylor in Monaco.
Taylor will definitely obsess over that kiss as well, so she’ll wind up spilling the beans to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Since Steffy wholeheartedly believes Ridge and Taylor are the perfect match, she’ll urge Ridge to ditch Brooke and go back to her mom.
Steffy will also have a chance to put Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) on full blast for faking John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) death.
We’ve seen Steffy stuck in a deep pit of despair, so she’ll blame Li for leaving her there.
Of course, Li had a job to do and held the Forresters partially responsible for putting Finn in danger.
Steffy also could’ve been given false hope if Li’s efforts didn’t pan out, so she’ll try to convey how complicated the situation was.
Besides, Li would’ve told Steffy the truth once Finn woke up, but Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) got in the way.
Sheila deserves far more blame in all this, so Li may remind Steffy of that and get Finn to back her up.
Speaking of Sheila, Detective Alex Sanchez (Jeremy Ray Valdez) will pop up with some significant information on her location.
There may be a new lead that brings the cops closer to tracking Sheila down, so the Forresters will be eager to learn more.
As for Finn and Steffy, they’ll eventually put any lingering drama aside for a hot night of reconnecting in the bedroom.
Steffy and Finn will show each other just how special their love is with some passionate scenes together.
Other B&B spoilers say Thomas will make an announcement that throws Hope’s world into turmoil.
Since Thomas will want Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) to move in with him again, Hope will go into panic mode – and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) should have some concerns of his own.
However, Thomas will just be broaching the topic for now.
It may be Thomas’ attempt to test the waters and try to get Hope on board without having to push too hard.
Deacon will sense that Hope’s upset later, so he’ll quiz his daughter about what’s going on.
Once Hope explains, Deacon will insist Douglas belongs with Hope and will seemingly have faith that Thomas will back down.
Hope will get a confidence boost from Deacon’s comforting words, but part of her will still be terrified over the custody changes Thomas might demand.
