Tonight’s episode begins with Simone and Brendon being included in a huge sting to take down a crime syndicate dealing fentanyl. A senior consultant helps train them. He reminds them not to screw this up. He makes them set up bugs without leaving evidence they were there in a hotel where the crime family plans to host a party. The mock training will be assessed by him.

They head to tell Bob they are ready to be inspected and discover he is dead. Their sting still has to go down to take Tobias and his crew. They are all upset about Bob but their superior reminds them they have to keep moving on.

Simone heads home and meets Dina, a smooth-talking lady outside her house. It’s the daughter of a woman in her dad’s book club. Her dad tells her to stay clear from Dina, she is drama for days.

Simone and Carter sit in a van outside of the hotel the crime family arrives at. The family sweeps for bugs but doesn’t pick up on anything. All looks good until a deadly biker game rolls in to mess with Tobias and his crew. This sting looks like it’s going to be a war.

The team learns the criminals are all working together and Simone and Brendan didn’t plant bugs in the kitchen where the leaders are talking. Simone begs to go in posing as someone else. She gets in and plants the bug. Carter helps her out acting as her annoyed husband. They have to get back into the restaurant tonight to take the bugs out. Laura offers to supervise. Just then, her ex-best friend comes in to tell her she is marrying Laura’s ex-fiancé. She quickly gets herself away from Katie, who she once thought was her best friend.

Carter takes his wife out and learns that they have more marital problems than he thought. She feels indifferent about them. Meanwhile, Simone and the others learn the two kids from the biker game and the mob is having an affair. They watch the pair get kidnapped. Now they have to save two kids from crime families.

They bring the heads of the families in. Both families don’t trust one another or the Feds. The next day, Simone and Carter hit the road for leads. He tells her he is getting a divorce. She is really sorry. In another car, Brendan tries to help Laura work through the Katie thing while they scope out leads. They learn one of the families is being blackmailed for money. They head to the drop and manage to get the son but the daughter from the other crime family isn’t there.

Simone and Carter stake out the scene where they think the daughter will be. Simone commands the scene, making a group of criminals drop their guns by pretending they have a lot of back up but it’s only her and Carter. He is impressed.

Back at headquarters, Laura and Brendan question the son, Rusty. He tells them Alyse and he met at a biker bar. This doesn’t seem right to Simone. The suspects they pulled from the stakeout go to school with Alyse. Meanwhile, Alyse knows she is going down so she shoots her real boyfriend who was in on the kidnapping with her. She calls 911 and pretends she was forced to shoot her abductor.

Carter, Simone, and the team arrive. Simone connects Alyse to her dead boyfriend on social media after Alyse says she doesn’t know him. Her dad arrives. She breaks down and admits she is guilty. She did it for money because she was sick of listening to her dad talks about his business and money.

The team is all commended for their best work. Laura isn’t going home like the others to sleep. She calls her ex-friend back and tells her where to go. Brendan’s advice about letting herself feel was awesome. She thanks him after telling off Katie.

Simone checks in on Carter. She tells him he needs to vent to someone. Even if it’s not her. She heads home and enjoys some time with Dina. She also learns Dina isn’t drama, her dad just doesn’t want them to date because he is dating her mom.
