The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is currently the head of Newman Media, which is what his dad wants. Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) is the head of Newman-Locke, which is what her dad accepted and endorsed.
Y&R spoilers predict that Adam will take over Victoria’s CEO position at Newman Enterprises as his sister goes into crisis over Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi).
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) still calls the shots. He is the founder of Newman Enterprises and holds sway in the now-merged company.
The Moustache also financed Newman Media into existence, with Adam holding a title, Ashland having a controlling interest, and Victor being the final decision-maker.
The above makes Victoria’s presentation to her father all the more intriguing. Would a change in Newman-Locke’s executive suite become inevitable if Victor agrees to allow her to buy Newman Media?
Young and the Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman Is No Threat
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has a renewed outlook on life. His Christmas season dream provoked a trip to Italy, a great holiday week-plus visit with Summer Newman (Hunter King) and her family, and a refreshed outlook on life.
Nick is not interested in working for his sister or their father. Morrow’s character remains in charge at New Hope and wants Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will join him.
So, Victoria has no concerns about Nick being a threat.
Young and the Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Would Not Take Over
Victoria’s matter-of-fact oil-based portrait replaced Victor’s statement likeness that adorned the identically prominent place on the Chief Executive Officer’s wall inside Newman Towers. But rehashing the past does not project as a good plot.
Adam would remain part of Newman Media’s apparatus in Victoria’s attempted purchase.
Adam has been getting along with Victoria since helping to prevent trouble at her wedding to Ashland. But daytime is about drama.
Victor is not the most likely guy to bump Victoria from the CEO’s office. Ashland would not do so for a variety of reasons. So, that leaves Adam as the most likely pick to replace Victoria as Newman CEO.
Young and the Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman In Control During Crisis
Adam does not necessarily have to orchestrate Victoria’s ouster. Victor might not pit his children against each other, as Nick recently said their father enjoys doing.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Victoria will be written into a temporary crisis as recent news says Ashland will be leaving Y&R as Richard Burgi’s run is done. That scenario would make Adam the likely fill-in choice to run the family show.
Whether Victoria learns that Ashland has been faking his terminal illness or that same illness catches up with The Lockeness Monster and kills him off she will not be in shape to handle Newman Enterprises’ CEO duties.
Victor could be inclined to endorse a power-share to continue following Victoria’s rebound. She would be incensed but have no place better to go.
