The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) engagement ring may stun Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and prove his drunken proposal was legit. Adam still wants to win Sally back, so his next mission could involve some bling.
When Adam blurted out that marriage proposal at The Glam Club, Sally had to wonder just how much he’d had to drink.
However, Adam assured Sally that he knew what was in his heart and that he wanted to take this step with her.
Even after Adam joined Sally in her hotel suite, he made it clear that his proposal was sincere. Adam urged Sally to give it some thought and reminded her of his love before he took off.
Of course, patience has never been Adam’s strong suit – and he doesn’t think he can afford to be patient right now anyway.
Every second that Adam isn’t by Sally’s side is another second she spends drifting in Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) direction.
During the week of November 28-December 2, Adam will once again decide to do something big and bold.
We’ll see Adam go too far as usual, so could this involve a follow-up marriage offer.
Since Adam impulsively asked Sally to marry him before, he didn’t have a ring to put on her finger.
Adam might decide he should change that and do this whole marriage proposal thing up right.
It’s easy to imagine Adam getting on one knee with an engagement ring this time around.
Adam might argue that this proves it wasn’t just the booze talking that night.
Perhaps Adam will make another emotional speech about his deep love for Sally and how she belongs with him, not Nick.
Adam can’t handle the idea of being the one who drove Sally into Nick’s arms, so an engagement ring could be his next attempt to pull her away from him.
Naturally, that doesn’t mean Sally will accept this potential ring! Adam’s wild and unpredictable behavior surely isn’t doing him any favors since Sally craves calm stability right now.
Nick has become the more appealing option in Sally’s eyes lately, so Adam may get rejected again – at least for the time being.
