The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, November 4 Recap – Summer Wants Diane to Leave Town – Sick Harrison Needs DiDi

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, November 4, teases that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will want Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) to leave town, but sick Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) will need his “DiDi.”

At Jabot on Friday’s Y&R episode, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will bump into Diane, who’ll admit they need to talk. Kyle will insist on taking this conversation back to the Abbott house for privacy’s sake – and he’ll warn that it can’t wait.

Soon after, Diane will spill the story of how she got caught up in Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) illegal dealings and was blackmailed by Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). Kyle won’t approve of all the excuses and will point out Diane still used the info Tucker offered about Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang).

Once Kyle rants about Diane lying and breaking his trust, he won’t be certain their relationship can ever get back to where it was. Kyle also won’t like the fact that Diane only came clean once she was backed into a corner.

Diane will assure Kyle that nothing matters more to her than her bond with him and Harrison. Despite Diane’s mistakes, she’ll declare that her love is endless and hope Kyle knows that in his heart by now.

Kyle will get that Diane wants him to say he understands and can move past all this, but he’ll need time to sit with it first.

At Noah Newman’s (Rory Gibson) nightclub, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will ask why Summer looks so miserable after her Costa Rica trip. Summer will admit there’s been some Diane-related drama before quizzing Nick about Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

Nick will offer the news about Sally and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) no longer being employed at Newman Media. When Summer learns Nick and Sally are taking a break, she’ll seem relieved.

At Crimson Lights, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will gloat to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about the Diane situation, but he won’t think she has anything to be gleeful about. As far as Jack’s concerned, Phyllis should take a good look in the mirror.

Jack will argue that even if Diane had been a saint, Phyllis still would’ve gone after her. Diane was never given a real shot, but Phyllis will argue that she’s not the bad guy here.

Once Summer interrupts, Jack will leave in a huff. That’ll give Phyllis a chance to see how Summer feels about Diane’s deception. Phyllis will think Diane needs to leave Genoa City, but she’ll wonder about Summer’s opinion as Kyle’s wife.

Although Summer wanted Kyle to find peace and get to know his mom, she’ll be upset over all the lies. From where Summer’s sitting, she’ll determine that Phyllis is right – that Diane needs to go.

Next, Summer will take Kyle some coffee and get updates on his tense discussion with Diane. Kyle will point out that Diane didn’t do anything malicious and will seem like he’s leaning toward forgiving her.

However, Summer will worry now that Diane’s deception has been exposed. It’ll leave Summer questioning how they can ever trust Diane again.

Back at the Abbott house, Jack will find Diane since Kyle said she could be there when Harrison woke up. Diane will offer to tell Jack how things went with Kyle, but he’ll suggest he’d rather hear it from their son.

When Diane wonders where this leaves her relationship with Jack, he’ll be unsure and won’t be prepared to talk about it right now.

Once Jack leaves, Diane will brood alone until Harrison calls out to her on the stairs. Harrison will admit he doesn’t feel good, so Diane will put her hand on his forehead and realize he’s burning up with a fever.

At The Glam Club, Phyllis will ask if Nick thinks she’s destructive, vindictive and an innately bad person. Nick will assume this has something to do with Diane and will mention his earlier conversation with Summer.

Phyllis will argue that she’s not the villain and will seem distraught over always being treated like she is.

At Society, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will flash back to Tucker insisting he made a pact with Diane after a chance encounter. Tucker will eventually arrive in the present and learn that Ashley has been thinking about him.

Tucker will reiterate that his arrangement with Diane was benevolent, but he’ll be skeptical of Ashley’s interest in him. It’ll seem like Ashley is trying to lure Tucker to gather information.

Ashley will act like it shouldn’t matter what her motives are if Tucker has nothing to hide – especially since he wants to spend time together. Tucker will assume this is a test and an opportunity to prove he’s a changed man, so he’ll accept that challenge.

As other Y&R details emerge, we’ll keep you posted. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Tucker and Ashley could be playing a dangerous game, so stay tuned! CDL’s the place to be for terrific Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so pop back in soon.
