The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, November 21, reveals that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will ditch Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) while Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) bails on Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
At Crimson Lights, Billy and Lily will check in with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) about Chelsea.
Lily will think Sharon is an angel for how she’s been helping, but Sharon will just be glad she could pitch in.
As for the conversation Chelsea had with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), Billy will hope Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) didn’t screw it up.
Even after Adam appears and insists the discussion went well, Billy will be reluctant to take his word for it.
Billy will want to go upstairs and talk to Chelsea, but Sharon will advise against intruding on her time with Connor.
Lily will seem irritated and urge Billy to take Sharon’s trained advice, so he’ll back off and agree to have dinner with Lily.
Once Sharon’s alone, Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will show up. Sharon will surprise Noah by asking how he coped when she was struggling with her bipolar diagnosis.
After Noah opens up a bit, Sharon will talk about worrying about her kids and will act like Noah will understand one day.
That’ll lead to Noah admitting he was almost a father, so he’ll spill the Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) miscarriage story and get Sharon’s comfort.
After Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) get all dressed up for their date, they’ll end up at The Glam Club.
Since Noah won’t be around, Sally will suggest they don’t have to keep it PG and will lean in for a kiss with Nick.
Adam will glare as he witnesses the lip lock and will ultimately send the two of them a bottle of wine.
Although Nick and Sally won’t like that Adam’s trying to cause a scene, they’ll opt to enjoy their evening and drink the wine he offered.
Later, Adam will corner Sally, who’ll reluctantly give him two minutes for a private conversation.
As Nick stands nearby, Adam will insist that seeing Sally there with Nick is eating away at him.
Since Adam will feel like he drove Sally into Nick’s arms, he’ll want to fix the mistake.
Adam will insist they belong together and will stun Sally by asking her to marry him.
At Newman Media, Nate will make a call about some material that he wants highlighted and sent to him.
When Nate learns Sally already set the same thing in motion, he’ll be taken aback.
Elena will stop by with a gift, so Nate will open it and see that it’s a framed photo of her with Nate.
Although Elena won’t be thrilled about how Nate ended up taking this job, she’ll admit happiness looks good on him and will approve.
Nate will assure Elena that he can celebrate with her over dinner after a late meeting with Victoria.
Elena will agree to head to Society and order Champagne while she waits for him.
Over drinks in Victoria’s office, Nate will talk about Sally having innovative ideas and seemingly doing well across the board.
It’ll leave Nate wondering why Victoria brought him in as a replacement.
Victoria will assure Nate that it wasn’t about payback on Adam, but there’s always a personal element in decisions like this.
From Victoria’s perspective, it won’t be a bad thing to like the people you work with.
Victoria will think Nate needs to worry less about his predecessor and more about his goals.
Nate will discuss his vision and impress Victoria, who’ll urge him to make a dream list of projects without cost limits.
At Society on Monday’s Y&R episode, Elena will find a distracted Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) at the bar, but he’ll admit it’s something he needs to work through on his own.
Devon will decline to join Elena and Nate tonight he won’t want to sit down with a traitor.
After they rehash Nate’s betrayal, Elena will change the subject to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and learn she’s headed back to Virginia.
Elena will feel like Devon and Amanda are strong enough to survive a long-distance romance, but Lily and Billy will arrive before Devon can admit the breakup.
Billy and Lily will also decline to have Nate be part of their evening, but they’ll be pleasant to Elena since what happened wasn’t her fault.
At a table, Lily will admit she’s frustrated since Billy didn’t trust her with the truth about Chelsea right away.
The whole thing will leave Lily torn between admiration for what Billy’s doing and concern that this won’t be good for their own relationship.
Lily will think Chelsea has a lot of people in her life that are better suited to helping her at this point, but Billy will be reluctant to break his promise.
Billy will then get a text from Chelsea, who’ll wonder if he can meet her at Crimson Lights since Connor is asleep.
Lily will urge Billy to go, but he’ll act like he really just wants updates on the Connor situation and will take a step back later.
Once Lily rejoins Devon, he’ll find out Billy bailed. When Devon asks if Billy’s figured out what he’s doing with his life yet, Lily will blurt out that she hopes not.
Devon will think that’s an odd response, but Lily will urge him not to read too much into it and won’t want to discuss the details.
Elena will text Nate to see if he’s on his way, but he’ll text back that the meeting’s running long.
After waiting and waiting, Elena will call it a night and speak to Lily as she passes through.
Once Lily is alone, she’ll look up and spot Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) as he approaches the bar.
Lily will call out Daniel’s name in shock, so he’ll call out as well and smile at the sight of her.
Back with Nate, he’ll assure Victoria that Elena will be fine without him.
Nate will be learning a lot from Victoria, so he’ll want to keep their momentum going and not waste any time.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nate and Victoria’s connection could be headed into dangerous territory, so stay tuned!
