The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, September 19, teases that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will decide on an ultimatum for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) while Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) accuses Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) of revenge.
Once Adam enters Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) hotel suite, he’ll question what he’s interrupted.
Nick won’t think it’s any of Adam’s business, but Adam will argue that Sally can speak for herself.
After Sally convinces Nick to leave, Adam will ask if she’s sleeping with his brother.
Sally will act like Adam has no right to ask that and will wonder if he’s been hunting her down just to hurl baseless accusations.
Adam will suggest they aren’t baseless considering the private meeting he walked in on, but Sally will remind Adam that he dumped her.
When Adam points out that Sally is avoiding the question, she’ll continue to hedge.
Sally will suggest that even if she was sleeping with Nick, they’re all adults who are free to do whatever they want.
Although Sally will wonder why she should believe any of this matters, Adam will fire back that it matters to him.
Sally won’t know what the truth is anymore and will want to focus on what’s best for her now.
Since Sally can’t forgive Adam for his lack of trust or for using her as a pawn, she’ll announce that she’s done.
Sally will declare that she’s moving on with her life and urge Adam to do the same.
At Crimson Lights, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will ask if Nick has seen Sally, so he’ll wonder why she’s asking.
Chloe will clarify that she’s just looking for her CEO and is worried about Adam, but Nick will give a glowing review of how strong Sally is and act like she’ll be fine.
That’ll leave Chloe surprised by how well Nick and Sally seem to know each other.
Once Chloe meets back up with Sally at the office, she’ll suggest that Nick is Sally’s number one fan.
Over with Nick again at the coffeehouse, he’ll flash back to landing in bed with Sally.
When Adam approaches, there’ll be tension over Nick and Sally’s private meetings.
Adam will wonder if this is Nick’s way of getting back at him for leaving Newman Enterprises.
After Adam brings up Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) disapproval of Sally, he’ll suspect their father won’t like his golden boy sleeping with her.
Adam will point out that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) isn’t going to like this either.
The same goes for Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) after all the things Sally did to her.
Nick will snap at Adam and warn that’s enough, so Adam will suggest they both know what can happen when Nick gets angry.
After Nick goes on a tirade about Adam being like a wrecking ball, he’ll contend that Sally is too tough to be ground down like Sharon and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Adam will admit he thought they had come to an understanding after recent events, but now all that’s vanished. “Why is that, brother?” Adam will ask angrily on Monday’s Y&R episode.
At the Abbott house, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will warn Kyle that it’s a huge mistake to keep Summer in the dark on this vow renewal.
Kyle will decide Traci’s right – that they should be a team and plan this together.
Afterward, Kyle will make a sweet speech and get down on one knee.
Once Kyle asks Summer to make him the happiest man in Genoa City and marry him again, she’ll gladly get on board with their vow renewal and hometown wedding reception.
At Jabot, Phyllis will deny planting the false document on Diane’s computer and act like she’s capable of so much worse.
Diane will admit she took her concerns to Kyle and Summer, who rode to Phyllis’ rescue – though they did agree to look into the sabotage attempt.
Diane will contend that she felt seen and heard by Kyle, so Phyllis’ inability to defy her worst instincts became a good deed. Now Diane will think her relationship with her son is becoming what she hoped it would be.
After Jack witnesses the conflict, he’ll question if Phyllis set Diane up like she said. Phyllis will once again deny it before Kyle and Summer arrive.
Summer will speak to Phyllis about the vow renewal while Kyle talks to Jack about the latest round of drama between the moms.
That’ll lead to Jack insisting that Kyle needs to draw a line in the sand.
No matter whose hands are dirty, both Diane and Phyllis need to go if they’re creating a distraction with their feud.
Choosing one or the other would only exacerbate the war and heighten the tension.
Kyle won’t want to lose either one at Marchetti, so Jack will push him to bring the women together and warn that there’s zero tolerance for shenanigans going forward.
Once Kyle meets up with Summer at Society, he’ll share Jack’s advice.
Summer will think giving Diane and Phyllis the ax if they cross the line sounds extreme, but Kyle will want to avoid their ceremony turning into a battle royale.
After Summer texts Phyllis about lunch at Society, Kyle will summon Diane as well.
Diane and Phyllis will fume as they run into each other outside, but they’ll realize their children are watching and planned this.
Diane will urge Phyllis to behave for once, so Phyllis will insist she’s not worried and add that Diane is the one who should be.
Neither Phyllis nor Diane will look happy about this meeting as they march in.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle will prepare to deliver this harsh ultimatum along with Summer, so stay tuned!
