The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) may face a surprise pregnancy and a paternity mystery – one that leaves her wondering who’s the daddy, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) or Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow)!
Sally recently decided to move forward with Nick, so they hit the sheets again. Although Sally still has deep feelings for Adam, she’s been shoving those aside and trying to focus on Nick instead.
That’ll become impossible during the week of November 28-December 2 when Adam approaches Sally in a moment of frustration.
Sally will let that frustration explode, but it’ll also lead to her confessing her lingering connection to Adam back in her hotel suite.
Y&R spoilers say Sally will kiss Adam – and there’s a good chance things are only going to escalate from there!
Adam and Sally seem poised to sleep together, so the show has the prime opportunity for a baby bombshell and a paternity mystery.
Previous spoilers suggested this Adam, Sally and Nick love triangle would carry on for quite some time.
It doesn’t sound like it’ll be a simple case of Sally going back to Adam and the story ending.
With that in mind, we have to think about how Y&R writers might keep the drama going.
They could certainly use a surprise pregnancy to make that happen and keep Sally guessing about the father for a while.
The show seems overdue for another baby bomb anyway, so Sally might be on the receiving end of one.
Sally is so driven by her career, so shaking up her personal life with a child would be interesting for her character.
Although Sally is obviously great with kids based on her interactions with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), she’d no doubt be nervous about having one of her own.
That’s especially true if Sally decides to reunite with Adam and then realizes she could be expecting Nick’s baby!
Both Newman brothers could become father possibilities for Sally’s unborn child.
A paternity mystery could create a big mess for Sally and might influence what her romantic future looks like.
It’d be a lot less complicated if Sally chose to be with the “baby daddy,” so that might be something she keeps in mind.
There’s even the potential for some paternity test tampering in a story like this, so let’s hope the show takes advantage of the pregnancy plot opportunity.
