The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) new love story may begin soon. Will Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) realize Sharon is his ideal woman who understands the cop wife life?
There’s already a nice bond between Chance and Sharon due to their mutual Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) connection.
Chance was Rey’s partner and close friend, so he felt a deep sense of loss once his buddy was killed off.
The fact that Chance went to the trouble of closing all Rey’s open cases touched Sharon’s heart.
Meanwhile, Sharon has been doing her best to heal following Rey’s death. At some point, Sharon will be ready to date again – and it may line up with Chance’s own timeline for healing.
Chance’s heart was shattered in a different way when he walked in on Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), but he’s definitely in pain.
Even though Chance admitted he could see Abby and Devon’s betrayal coming, it still stings.
Chance knows the issues in his marriage run far deeper since Abby can’t handle him always having to dash off to work.
Abby considers it a betrayal when duty calls, but Sharon understands what it’s like to be married to a cop and accepts that it comes with certain obligations.
Sharon was married to Detective Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) once upon a time and was most recently married to Rey, so she gets it.
Chance wouldn’t have to worry about feeling judged when he had to run to a crime scene or work late on a stakeout.
Sharon also has good advice and says what she means.
In the November 14 episode, Sharon will offer guidance to Chance and leave him feeling grateful for her candor.
It’s easy to see the pieces coming together for a new love story here, so maybe Chance and Sharon will make a great match.
Regardless, it’s just nice to think about Sharon doing more than serving coffee and listening to other people’s problems.
Once Chance moves past his heartache and is ready for a new love interest, Sharon may be ready as well.
This could turn into a sizzling romance, so let’s hope Y&R moves this along quickly!
