The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, August 2, tease that an Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) clue will surface and create Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) new problem. Noah Newman’s (Rory Gibson) dream will also be derailed, but he won’t give up on the fight for his future.
For starters, there’ll be some troubling evidence in the Ashland investigation.
After Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) brings Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) in the loop, they’ll agree something’s fishy about this case.
Chance has already been mulling over Ashland’s ring, which Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) found on the floor near the back door.
Nick willingly handed it over, but Chance seems to think there’s some significance to this dropped ring that just doesn’t add up.
However, there’ll be another clue that surfaces in Tuesday’s Y&R episode – something that’s unsettling and most likely provides a clearer picture of a cover-up.
Chance obviously suspects Victor is withholding information and may end up interrogating him again soon.
Of course, Victor is the type of guy who tends to have total confidence.
Although Victor will believe everything’s under control, the Newman family will remain in crisis mode.
Chance’s growing suspicions are going to lead to more questions – and Nick will no doubt have a few more of his own.
Over with Noah, it looks like his nightclub plans may hit a snag.
Noah had his heart set on using Top of the Tower as his space, but he may wonder if he should even ask since Victor has so much going on.
Then again, maybe Noah will make his pitch and get shot down – just as Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) feared he would.
Summer suggested a space at The Grand Phoenix as an alternative, but even that could be in jeopardy since Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will take a step back from the hotel indefinitely.
Bottom line, Noah’s going to face some setbacks and may worry this nightclub just isn’t meant to be, but Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) will keep cheering him on.
Once Noah gets Allie’s pep talk, he should agree to keep at it and find something that works.
