The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will push Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to take the blame for framing Ashland Locke (Robert Newman). Victoria will need her brother to be the fall guy, so that’ll bring some conflict and negotiations.
Y&R fans know Victoria has been alluding to some big plan, but she’s been staying tight-lipped on the details so far.
However, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is growing impatient and even named Adam temporary CEO in a fit of frustration.
During the week of April 4-8, Victoria will eventually realize it’s time to explain her big idea.
Although the ultimate goal is plotting against Ashland and getting him out of the company entirely, they have to take things one step at a time.
Since Ashland keeps claiming that he was framed, Victoria will think they should use that as part of the plot.
Victoria will want to create some bait by making it look like someone within the Newman family indeed set Ashland up.
Ashland has been acting like Victor might’ve framed him, but Victoria will feel like Adam is the most logical candidate to use for her plan.
Adam has pulled shady stunts like this before, so it’s not like Adam or anyone else would have a hard time believing it.
Even Adam himself will acknowledge that once Victoria makes her pitch.
That said, Adam will wonder what’s in it for him. If Adam’s going to pretend to take the fall, he’ll want something in return.
Adam will quite like the idea of staying in that CEO chair for a while and will use that during the negotiating process.
Victoria’s scheme hinges on Adam’s cooperation, so she’ll have to appease him somewhat.
However, Adam could cause problems for himself thanks to a plan of his own.
Adam will cook one up with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), but Victor isn’t going to like it and will ultimately shut his son down.
