The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) may make a tempting Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) offer. Will Victor arrange access if Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) will relocate for good?
When Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) found out about Ashland’s fake cancer, they were understandably furious.
Ashland lied to Harrison about his condition and then acted like he was being noble by letting the boy leave for Milan.
In reality, Ashland wanted Harrison out of the way so he could focus on his twisted plans.
It was better for Harrison to be out of town in case of blowback, so Ashland didn’t put up a fight on Kyle and Summer’s proposal.
Now that Ashland’s horrible deception has been exposed, Summer and Kyle have cut off his visits with Harrison.
Ashland would do just about anything to see Harrison again, so that may be something Victor can use to his advantage.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has already figured out that Harrison is a weak spot for Ashland, but Victor’s on the verge of figuring it out, too.
On the May 23 episode of Y&R, Victor will realize Harrison could indeed be Ashland’s Achilles’ heel.
What will Victor do with that information? Victor is obviously going to use it as part of a plan to drive Ashland out of town, so that may involve a compromise.
Maybe Victor will insist he can make sure Ashland has access to Harrison – though Ashland would have to move to another city as part of the deal.
Victor might argue that Ashland and Harrison can enjoy their time together elsewhere.
If Ashland lived somewhere like Chicago, he wouldn’t be too far away – and yet he would be far enough for the Newmans to finally be rid of him.
Kyle and Summer haven’t made a firm decision yet, but Michael Mealor and Allison Lanier are both sticking around in long-term roles.
This move from Milan to Genoa City is happening, so Victor will be out of luck if he hopes to send Ashland as far off as Italy.
Nevertheless, just getting Ashland out of GC would be a huge win. The catch might be getting Kyle and Summer to agree to Harrison visitation again.
The idea of using Harrison as a bargaining chip may not be too appealing!
Victor might have to make a pitch about it being for the greater good and suggest it’s the right call for Harrison.
Ashland is a beloved second father in Harrison’s eyes, so it’d be wrong to rip that away from the kid completely.
Of course, Victor’s plan may be a bust since Ashland has another weakness – and her name is Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
Ashland isn’t sticking around for Harrison alone and won’t willingly go anywhere once he realizes he’s making progress with Victoria.
It’s easy to see that Victoria’s heart is softening toward Ashland, so Victor’s Harrison deal seems destined to fail.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will have to keep fighting if he wants Ashland out of his family’s orbit.
