The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, May 4, tease that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) will shock Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) while Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) faces second chance pressure. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also support an Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) snub, so let’s talk about what’s coming up in Genoa City.
For starters, Ashland will make an admission that stuns Jack.
We might see Jack try to play referee between Ashland and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) before the cancer scam news spreads.
Ashland will come clean to Jack about his dirty deeds, but he may also mention that he saved Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) life and is hoping this can be a turning point.
Whatever the case, Ashland’s confession will leave Jack reeling and help him understand just how much Victoria is going through right now.
As for Victoria, she’ll decide there’s a way to satisfy Victor’s desire to have someone run the company alongside her.
It’s not that Victoria is unwilling to accept help; it’s just that she doesn’t want Adam’s help specifically!
With that in mind, Victoria will name Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) her co-CEO and earn Victor’s approval.
Victor will expect Adam to get on board, but it’s easy to see why Adam will soon view this as a total snub.
Other Y&R spoilers say Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will make one last plea to Kyle.
They’ll have another intense conversation that ends with Diane pleading for an opportunity to prove herself.
Diane may admit she’s all packed up and ready to leave Los Angeles – that is, of course, unless Kyle gives her a reason to stay.
Diane will add to the pressure since Kyle won’t want to lose Diane now that they’ve reconnected.
At the same time, Kyle can’t trust his manipulative mother and will remain wary of the further damage Diane could do to his family.
Diane has brought a mess of emotions that aren’t proving easy for Kyle to sort out.
In the end, Diane may decide she’d be abandoning Kyle all over again if she left town.
This abandonment issue will continue to haunt Diane – to the point where she imagines getting arrested for it later this week!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Diane has a lot of work to do before she can truly repair her relationship with Kyle, but they’ll make progress eventually.
