The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, November 23 Recap – Tucker Blasts Backstabber Nate – Johnny’s Chelsea Change

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, November 23, teases that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will blast backstabber Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) while Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) makes a huge change in how he treats Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).

At the Abbott house, Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) presence will clearly irritate Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), but Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will admit he warned his sister to avoid the antagonism for Thanksgiving.

Although Diane will know she has a long way to go before she’s back in Jack’s good graces, she’ll appreciate him intervening with Ashley.

Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) will hand out some homemade Thanksgiving cards as Diane, Jack, Ashley, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier), Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) all gather to celebrate.

At dinner, Jack will encourage everyone at the table to share what they’re grateful for this year.

That’ll bring some heartwarming responses, but Jack will have to give Ashley another reminder to avoid the conflict for today.

Ashley will insist there’s no conflict, but she’ll think Jack should urge Diane not to get too comfy there.

After Ashley leaves to catch up with Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway), the rest of the gang will share a toast to new Abbott generations and future holidays together.

At Crimson Lights, there’ll be some awkwardness as Johnny and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) arrive followed by Chelsea and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

However, everyone will be eager to keep the peace as they gather to prepare meals for those in need.

Once Connor corners Johnny on the patio, he’ll admit that Chelsea was depressed and had to go to the hospital.

Although Chelsea insisted it wasn’t Connor or Johnny’s fault, Johnny will feel bad for his “crappy” treatment of her.

As for Victoria, she’ll grow suspicious over Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) letting Chelsea rent the apartment upstairs.

It’ll leave Victoria feeling like she’s missing something as Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) ultimately join the prep work.

Once Johnny speaks to Victoria and Billy, he’ll explain that Connor told him about Chelsea being hospitalized, so he’ll want to talk to her.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will insist it’s OK with him – and Victoria will agree if it’s really important to Johnny.

After Lily sits down with Chelsea and shares some supportive words, Chelsea will voice her gratitude.

Since Billy truly saved her life, Chelsea will also point out that she can’t thank him enough.

Johnny will interrupt and apologize for how he reacted when he found out he was related to Chelsea.

Once Johnny says he’s sorry if he messed Chelsea up, he’ll be glad she’s doing better now.

Chelsea will assure Johnny that he’s not to blame and will apologize for putting him in an awkward position.

When Chelsea hopes they can be friends moving forward, Johnny will smile and clasp her hands across the table.

Back with Victoria, she’ll be upset that she had to hear about Chelsea’s ordeal from Johnny instead of Billy.

Nevertheless, Billy won’t think it was his story to tell and will suggest they should follow Johnny’s lead since he’s handling all this with empathy as well as maturity.

Over with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), she’ll acknowledge Lily has been in a frustrating situation, but Lily will hope that things are going to calm down now.

Later, Billy will get updates on Chelsea’s Thanksgiving plans with Connor and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Lily will overhear Billy offering to let Chelsea stop by Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) place for dessert, so she’ll seem uneasy.

As for Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), they’ll have some disappointing news for Sharon.

It turns out the young pregnant woman who was considering Tessa and Mariah as adoptive parents decided to give her baby to her cousin.

Other Y&R spoilers say Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be delighted over Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) surprise return.

As they catch up, Phyllis will pry it out of Daniel that things have been rocky in his relationship with Heather Stevens (Jennifer Landon) – even before her Portugal trip.

Daniel won’t want to get into the details of that, but he’ll admit he’s entering a new chapter of his life and would like to channel his talents in a new direction.

At Society, Abby will stop by Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) table, so they’ll reel when she admits she’s having problems with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).

Abby will also talk to Devon briefly when he arrives, so she’ll admit Chance moved out. Unfortunately, Abby won’t know where Chance is staying.

Since Chance only stops by to see Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) when Abby isn’t around, she’ll be upset.

As Victor is leaving with Nikki, he’ll cross paths with Tucker. Victor will suggest that both Tucker and Diane should “get the hell out” of town and will urge Tucker to remember that he’s watching him.

After Devon and Tucker sit down for a holiday meal, Nate will show up with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).

Although Nate will hope they can at least be civil for Thanksgiving, Tucker will argue that doesn’t give Nate a free pass to stab Devon in the back.

Since Tucker won’t see Devon forgiving Nate anytime soon if ever, he’ll urge Nate to live with his choice and leave Devon alone.

Once Nate and Elena head to another table, Devon will remind Tucker that he can fight his own battles.

After Ashley arrives, Tucker will step aside and sense that she’s all worked up. Ashley will complain about having to spend Thanksgiving with Diane and insist it’s time to “bring that bitch down.”

Meanwhile, Elena will tell Nate that Tucker has no right to speak to him that way.

As far as Elena’s concerned, this is something Nate and Devon should work out without interference.

Nate will be touched over the way Elena is defending him, so he’ll admit he’s incredibly lucky to have her by his side.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Elena and Nate still have some relationship issues ahead despite this tender moment, so stay tuned to Y&R!
