The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of July 18-22 teases that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will attack Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) behind bars while Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) makes a cruel confession to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
For starters, Adam will face the difficult task of breaking things off with Sally, so she’ll inevitably be confused.
Of course, Adam will be working to save Sally’s Newman Media CEO job and keep her out of any vengeful fallout that might be looming.
The problem is Adam won’t tell Sally about his real agenda.
If she knew the truth, Sally would just walk away from Newman Media and try to stop whatever Adam is cooking up with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).
Adam will feel like he has to sacrifice his romantic happiness so that Sally can stay on the right path, but that’ll mean taking an awfully cruel approach.
Sally won’t buy that Adam really wants to split from her – and he obviously doesn’t – but he’ll work to convince her that he does anyway.
“You are standing between me and everything that I want,” Adam declares coldly in Y&R’s weekly preview video.
Sally will be furious and deeply distraught by the time Adam’s done with her, but you can bet he’ll secretly battle some heartache of his own.
Meanwhile, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will have a meeting with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).
Since they all hate Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), they’ll settle on the idea of pooling their resources to get rid of her forever.
Looks like Diane will face a truly sinister cabal in upcoming Y&R episodes.
After Ashland gets arrested for violating the Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) restraining order, Victor will pay him a menacing visit in lockup.
In fact, Victor will go as far as to grab Ashland through the bars and shake him while delivering a warning.
“No one breaks my daughter’s heart and gets away with it…no one!” Victor shouts in Y&R’s preview clip.
Although Victor will unleash his wrath, he’d better brace for Ashland’s next move. Ashland just might get the last laugh if his plot with Adam goes as planned.
