The Young and the Restless spoilers previews for the week of May 16 reveal that it will be all about Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) wedding. Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) returns and meets Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang). Plus, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) catches the wedding bouquet.
‘Teriah’ Wedding
Y&R spoilers reveal that there are two clips focusing on the week of May 16. Let’s begin with the preview that focuses on the “Teriah” wedding. It really is a spectacular and glitzy affair that accentuates both characters’ tastes.
Expect a lot of glitter, silver, and bright pink neon. However, it’s still done in a very classy and upbeat way.
It’s not going to be the typical, formal, traditional wedding, that’s for sure.
It looks like it will be a lot of fun and everyone at the ceremony appears to be having a great time.
Y&R Spoilers: Special Roles
The weekly preview shows that certain loved ones have special roles in Tessa and Mariah’s wedding.
Of course, fans already know that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will be officiating. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) proudly walks Mariah down the aisle.
Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) happily escorts Tessa toward the altar.
Plus, Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) makes an announcement asking everyone to lift up the “super-funky couple” with the power of their love.
It is also confirmed that Jack catches the bouquet, so maybe that is foreshadowing he could be next to tie the knot.
Summer Newman-Abbott Returns
The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of May 16 reveal that another preview clip was released. While this one does have “Teriah” wedding scenes, it also shows Summer returning.
Summer walks into the Abbott manse with her suitcase. Allie is standing on guard and looks at Summer with suspicion.
With Allie’s arms crossed defiantly, she looks at Summer as if she’s demanding answers.
Summer gives Allie a big smile and already knows she’s Jack’s granddaughter. Summer introduces herself as Kyle’s wife.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Allie Nguyen on Guard
It’s interesting to see Allie’s reaction to Summer. Now, Allie just might have not expected anyone to be waltzing into the house.
Perhaps Allie’s reaction is her just being protective of Jack’s home.
However, it could also suggest that there might be some conflict between Allie and Summer.
Allie seems to be such a sweet young lady, but nobody is a saint in soaps. Perhaps we will see a different side to Allie.
Could Allie clash with Summer for some reason? We will have to keep watching the CBS soap to find out!
