The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of November 14-18 tease that Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) temper will flare while Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) makes a painful confession. Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will also move forward with an evil scheme, so let’s discuss what’s ahead on Y&R.
For starters, Adam will have a temper tantrum, so that may be in response to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) romance. Although Adam will hope to prove to Sally that he adores her and can be the man she needs, Sally will clearly disagree.
Sally is looking for stability in her life, but Adam represents nothing except conflict and chaos. That could change eventually, but Nick is the one Sally is drawn to at this point – and that fact is sure to fill Adam with more rage.
Nick could easily make things worse since he’s going to extend a peace offering to someone. If Nick tries to make peace with Adam while still planning to date Sally, that could add fuel to the fire and stoke Adam’s anger even more.
Of course, Nick might also extend a peace offering to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) since things have been rather tense between them. Although Nick doesn’t approve of Victoria’s decision to kick Sally to the curb, he might put any lingering animosity to rest and reassure his sister that they’re cool.
As for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), he’ll continue to settle into his new role as Newman Media’s CEO. It’ll be interesting to see how well Nate performs in the position and how Nick will react to his work.
In the meantime, Tucker will reveal an evil scheme that could really shake up Genoa City. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) already speculated that maybe Tucker was after more than just Chancellor-Winters and a romance with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).
There’s a good chance Tucker wants to put Ashley on the Jabot throne as part of a merger with Chancellor-Winters – one that would create a major empire. Tucker hinted to Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) about turning brother against sister, so he’ll have two opportunities to do that.
The first one involves turning Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) against Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). The second one involves pitting Ashley against Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
If Tucker is successful working both angles, he could make serious progress when it comes to the takeover plots he’s juggling.
As for Abby, she’ll make a painful confession. Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) already knows about Abby’s betrayal since he walked in on her with Devon at the penthouse, but Abby will still need to admit a difficult truth.
Abby may concede that Chance is right – that there’s no solution that makes sense for their marriage at this point. Then again, Abby might confess what happened to someone else or even commiserate with Devon over their romantic blowups.
Regardless, Abby and Chance’s relationship is headed downhill fast! As other Y&R news and updates emerge, we’ll keep you posted.
