The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap review for the week of November 14-18 reveals that Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) big reveal left Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) torn while Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) pulled off some self-sabotage.
Once Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) finished her 72-hour stint in a psychiatric facility, she was ready for a fresh start.
Chelsea has to continue outpatient therapy and attend a support group, but she’s taking steps in the right direction.
Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) kindly offered the apartment above Crimson Lights to Chelsea, who gladly took her up on renting it.
Now Chelsea has a safe space where she can keep up her recovery and focus on getting better.
Chelsea also pushed Billy to come clean about the full story so Lily wouldn’t get the wrong idea.
Billy finally confessed Chelsea’s suicide attempt as a result, so Lily found herself conflicted.
Although Lily understood why Billy felt compelled to support Chelsea, she also struggled over his secret-keeping.
Billy tried to act like it wasn’t his story to tell, but Lily is his partner and someone he’s supposed to be able to trust.
It’s not like Lily would’ve blabbed Chelsea’s difficulties all over town. All Lily wanted was a deeper understanding of what Billy was doing.
Instead, Billy left Lily in the dark for 72 hours and let her frustration grow.
Even if Billy didn’t want to get into the details, he should’ve made it clear to Lily that it was a life-threatening ordeal from the get-go.
We get why Billy wants to help Chelsea in her time of need, but he’s making some poor choices with Lily that’ll inevitably come back to haunt him.
Adam made some poor choices of his own when he bumped into Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) at Society.
What did Adam hope to accomplish by creating a scene and insisting Sharon was the only woman Nick ever loved?
Adam may think he can get inside Sally’s head like this – and maybe that’s true.
However, Adam is also supporting every negative view Sally has of him with this behavior.
Sally sees Adam as this dangerous wildcard who lashes out unpredictably and causes pain. Thanks to Adam’s latest display, he proved Sally right.
Unfortunately, things are only going to get worse from here since Adam will swing in the other direction with a marriage proposal soon.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam is a mess who’s only going to get messier, so stay tuned!
