The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of October 3-7 tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will get a romantic surprise while Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) hires Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) doomed plan will also lead to drama, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will get busted plotting with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Of course, that won’t stop Nikki from trying to push Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) out of the picture – and she’ll gain new dirt soon enough.
In addition to the incriminating info Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) provided, Nikki will find another dirt supplier.
Since Tucker and Diane’s alliance is startling to crumble a bit, he may sell her out to Nikki in some way.
Even this connection alone will be enough to rile up the Abbott family since many of them have a contentious history with Tucker.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will find himself in the position to defend his loved ones from danger and should blast Diane over her ally eventually.
In the meantime, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will reignite an old rivalry, so that’ll mean having a showdown with Tucker.
Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will also have a shocking run-in with Tucker that leaves her on edge.
Tucker won’t bring back fond memories for Abby and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), so there are going to be some issues.
This Tucker encounter could set the stage for Abby and Chance Chancellor’s (Connor Floyd) looming tension.
Chance and Abby will indeed do some clashing, but they won’t be the only ones.
Chelsea will bicker with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) as well regarding different parenting styles, so Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) will be at the center of their argument.
Over with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), he’ll console Chelsea before making a promise to someone.
Billy may want to help Chelsea and Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) bond in time, but he’ll need Chelsea to be patient.
Unfortunately, patience isn’t Chelsea’s strong suit, so she’ll come up with a plan that flops miserably.
Whether that involves using Connor to influence Johnny or just approaching Johnny herself, Chelsea will set the stage for trouble.
While Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) do some strategizing,
Devon will be busy welcoming Tucker home. It looks like Devon will be happy to officially make Tucker part of the team at Chancellor-Winters.
Devon will reveal a surprise announcement about his latest hire while Sally gets a surprise of her own.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will impress Sally as he tries to woo her with his romantic intentions, so they’ll grow closer quickly.
As for Noah Newman (Rory Gibson), his past will come back to haunt him.
It seems likely that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) is Noah’s former flame, so his romantic history should come into play
That could be one of the messes Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) has to contend with since her therapist skills will be tested.
