The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Week of September 12 – Adam’s Awful Setback – Jack & Victor Showdown – Sally & Nick Surrender

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of September 12-16 tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will face an awful setback while Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) have a showdown. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will also surrender to temptation, so here’s what Y&R has in store.

First, Adam will remain hopeful about Sally’s forgiveness. Part of Adam may think there’s a chance Sally will take him back, but she’ll hook up with Nick instead!

After Nick opens up to Sally, their connection will explode with some passion. No matter when Adam finds out about this, it’s sure to be a tough blow.

Adam’s bubble will burst when it comes to any Sally reunion dreams he might be holding onto – at least for now. Fortunately, Adam has a new co-CEO job to focus on at Jabot.

That job will continue to rile Victor up, so look for a major faceoff between Victor and Jack.

Although Jack will defend his efforts to give Adam a fresh start, Victor will feel like his rival has committed an act of war.

Victor will rip into Jack for what he views as a betrayal and perhaps warn that some business trouble’s brewing.

Now that Adam is working for the enemy, it’ll seal the deal on Newman Enterprises and Jabot’s next contentious chapter.

Speaking of contentious chapters, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is certainly stuck in one of those with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) right now.

After Nate’s plan to move forward with the music festival flops, Devon may discover what he was up to and fly into a rage.

Nate obviously shouldn’t have been going against Devon on this, especially while Devon was out of town.

It’s true that Devon seems to shut down ideas that come from Nate, but he’s still the boss – and that means Nate can’t go around planning festivals against Devon’s wishes!

Even so, Imani Benedict (temporarily played by Denise Boutte) will add fuel to the fire and make the cousin clashing worse.

Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will fume over Imani stirring the pot, but Nate will feel like Imani is the only one who understands.

Although Nate will consider quitting, Imani may urge him to hang in there and keep fighting for the changes he wants.

Nate and Devon’s feud is building to nasty levels, so their relationship may never fully recover if they don’t get a grip.

As for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), she’ll gear up for an imminent meeting with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and hope he can offer the Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) ammo she needs.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will keep working on her Marchetti plot in the meantime, but Diane will make it clear that she’s got her guard up.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Diane and Phyllis’ rivalry will soar to new heights soon, so stay tuned.
