The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of September 19-23 tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will deliver some shocking news while we see the first signs of Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) revenge fallout. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also provoke Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), so here’s what Y&R fans can expect.
For starters, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will get a big surprise thanks to Kyle.
It sounds like Kyle will finally reveal his plans for a vow renewal and a hometown wedding reception, so Summer should be over the moon.
Of course, Kyle and Summer should also try to get to the bottom of the latest Marchetti drama.
Diane accused Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) of planting a file on her computer as part of a sabotage plan – and that could easily be true since Phyllis indeed intends to sabotage her.
However, Summer also presented the possibility that Diane simply wanted to make it look like Phyllis was undermining her.
Since Summer obviously wanted to give her own mother the benefit of the doubt, she put suspicion on Diane instead.
This could lead to some mom conflict for Kyle and Summer eventually, but they’ll be on cloud nine doing vow renewal prep in the meantime.
No matter what happens with Phyllis and Diane, Summer and Kyle may promise to focus on their own future.
Speaking of the future, Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will feel like he’s finally found the right path for himself.
We’ll see Noah move forward with his nightclub and get plenty of support from Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) as they grow closer.
Noah may also have a little side venture that ties in with his nightclub idea, so he’ll be working hard to create the new life he wants.
As for Victor, he’ll take great pleasure in getting under Diane’s skin.
Victor won’t spill the details, but he may not be able to resist dropping a few hints about Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) latest strategy.
Perhaps Victor will hint that Diane’s past in LA may not be as buried as she thinks.
Since Diane is so determined to put her history in the rearview mirror, Victor may rattle her a bit and rile her up.
Meanwhile, Nikki will be part of a crossover event with The Bold and the Beautiful, so she’ll push Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) to meet her at a Beverly Hills hotel.
The goal will be to pressure Deacon into spilling any dirty details he might know about Diane.
Deacon will get a mysterious message and should be in for a shock when Nikki ends up being behind it.
Nikki will take a gamble by meeting with Deacon since she fears it could trigger bad memories and vibes, but she’ll do whatever it takes for Diane takedown help.
While Nikki is in LA, she’ll also have a Forrester Creations meeting.
Nikki wants to talk to Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) about a special gown for Summer’s vow renewal, but her Deacon visit will remain her priority.
Over with Nate, we should see the beginning of some major fallout.
Nate’s revenge plot will shake things up, so he seems poised to make serious trouble at Chancellor-Winters.
Finally, a new business executive named Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will be summoned to Genoa City by one mogul, so it’ll be fun to meet Audra and see how she fits in on canvas.
